Brienne would have ZERO chance against Jaime, let alone the Hound. Pure woke, feminist fantasy. Jaime would have skillfuly cut her to ribbons, and even shorter, he was stronger, no doubt...that she went at him one-handed was absurd. Sandor would have mutilated her...a horrorshow...she couldn't hurt him with a punch, and there's no chance she could even parry his blows, let alone stand toe to toe as an equal in power. He'd blow through her defense like she was a child. When he punched her, she'd have been slumped. She couldn't take a SINGLE punch from him, let alone several...the kicks would have finished her instantly. Absolutely absurd to even imply she could fight him as a physical peer that could deal with his ferocity and hate. In armour, I'd bet on an unarmed, SHACKLED Hound over Brienne. Stop the nonsense.

Arya was Sandor's good deed. At first he probably only wanted money from the Starks or Tullys, but man, he is the reason she made it. He was a good man, even if he tried to hide it, he saved Sansa, he saved the knight of flowers, protected Arya every step of the way they were together, and even in the end, he wouldn't let her die.

I think Bronn would be in my number 1 spot as the better fighter from all others. Jon would be second, Jamie 3rd, the hound 4, tormund 5 with Brianne. I wouldn’t even consider the Worm.

My rant about Ser Vardes aside, this list is prejudice towards John Snow, ending with him killing a white walker, and yet it was Arya who killed the Nights King and shes put at numver 4. Brienne was put and number 3 yet in the training dual with Arya they both killed eachother with their finishing blow, so they should have been tied for first place, with John Snow in second.

Bron vs ser Vardes was such a bullshit fight. Ser Vardes was usless from the start. You dont use Heavy armor, and use a shield like that if you are an aggressive fighter, because it slows you down. You only use,heavy armour and a big shield if you are a tank. That armour and shield is ment for front line soldiers that are patient and are ment to defend the army from archers as the ranks advance towards the enemy. Its not ment to be used by the main attack force. Aggressive fighters use great swords battle axes, spears and pole arms when using armor like that as a foot soldier. And the ones thst use shields use smaller shields that can be used to quickly deflect blows, not huge tank shields that slow you down. The only other people that use armour like that are cavalry. Before anyone points out he's a knight of the Vale, yes, i know, and asa knight of the vale, he should have known rhe weakness of his armour and shield when on foot and fought, defensively. As a knight of the Vale he should havd known that the reason he's so leathel in that setup is because of his horse. On foot his armour and shield make him slow and open to counter attacks if he go's on the offence, but on horseback, the speed of the horse compansates for the waight of his armour so he has a lot more power in his swings. Meaning he doesn't have to swing it so hard to hack a man to death. A slight swing will cleavd a man because the horses speed gives it more power. So he csn conserve his energy throughout the battle and the heavy armour and shield dont wear him out so fast as a result. The shield to meant to cover his one side from attack when hes on hoseback so that he doesn't get knocked off his horse from the (in this case the left because hes right handed) opposite side from the side hes attacking. There are 2 types of cavalry, light and heavy and in those 2 categories there are 3 types of units (2 for heavy cavalry). Lancers, one handed weapons (some use one axes instead of swords) and mounted archers. The heavey lancers are ment to take out enemy cavalry. They use a heavy spear called a lance (hence the name) and a small thick shield ment for defending againt incoming lancer attacks and pikes. They are ment to be at the front of a cavalry formation to kill enemy cavalry, charging at their ranks, and to break through infantry headed by pikes. There lance is ment to impale the pikeman before the pikes can kill them (pikes are infantry who use spears that can be placed into the ground to impale charging cavalry, there spears are designed to be strong enough to use the cavalrys speed against them) and the shield is ment to protect them from the pikes and lances attempts to impale them when they make contact with eachother. Light lancers use spears instead of lances. They are faster than heavy cavalry but not as powerful. They are lent for taking out light infantry units that are agile but poorly defend (like Bron in this fight) archers and infantry units using light armour are what they are designed to combat there speed is ment for taking out the archers before they can destroy your army. Which is why thay sacrifice some attack power for extra speed. Heavey 1 handed cavaly are ment to charge at enemy infantry, behind the heavey lancers. There job to slash at the broken ranks of the infantry after the lancers have broken throgh the pike wall. Once the lancers hit, and the pikes are taken out (or if the lsncers fail to break throgh the pike wall) the one handed cavalry use the shock of the lancers impact on the infantry ranks, to catch them off guard and finish them off. If you get knocked off balance or fail to absorb the impact if the kancers charge, the one handed heavy cavaly will finish you off shortly after. The light one handed do exactly the same thing for light lancers as their heavy counterparts, only vs light infinity like archers (since thsts what light cavalry are for) Mounted archers are ment for flank attacks. Since most infantry formations are ment to protect from attacks from the front (with exceptions like the roman turtle formation, which is ment to protect from archers and most attacks while making a slow advance towards your goal). Mounted archers are ment to hit the sides of the enemies formation with arrows to send them into a disorganised state and laje them vulnerable to charging cavaly and infantry units. They are usually lightly armoured ti keeo the fast enough to avoid being hit. And if Ser Vardes was a real knight, he'd know this, the fool.

Man...The difference between Martin's writing, world building and dialogue; and what D&D did with the show when they didn't have a script already written for them is so stark, that even to this day it bothers me how this whole thing ended. I mean, its legendary, how bad it was. Sometimes you have "decent" shows, that end up going downhill and really being tradh by the end (Dexter, OZ, for instance). But it's rare you have something like this, ehich the first 3-4 seasons were legitimately some of yhe best television of all time, and then suddenly take a turn for the worst that is so drastic, that it's honestly baffling. An alright, compelling, above average show ending badly is one thing, but a legendary show, with just absolutely peak writing ending in the way it did is just...depressing.
