The biggest problem with how he predicts BOA SA in general is that he thinks that he is predicting GN and not 14 TX bands. The monument that he put Marcus at 6 i knew that screwed up.

my right ear really enjoyed this! i saw this live, with my marching band. were gonna be in this competition next year, with the 2a schools. hebron was my favorite this year.

Interesting! Had no idea this hadn't been done before. Just goes to show how good they truly were this year. Got the rare chance to travel to the BOA San Antonio Super Regional before Nats, and I honestly wonder how Avon would have done down there. I know they definitely would have put some pressure on the competition!

When I saw their prelims run at Conway I knew they were vulnerable. Next year they need the pacing to be better and keep my attention. Honestly the whole concept fell flat.

Nationals location should trade between Indy and Dallas every year.

Honorable mentions: bridgelands, Dobbyns Bennett, American fork, William mason, castle, and some of the other grand nats finalist bands who didn’t make it in the video

Off of a, while I will say very good performance, a very easy music book and visuals that don’t come close to what they did in 2019-2022 it’s no surprise that they swept. If they did more challenging shows and had a more intricate music book I would be more inclined to just lay it all out for them. But to me, for such a high level and class band in the country, of course they should win with a show like this. I really want to see more difficulty from them. Take Carmel from this year and last year for example. No other band in the country is attempting what they did musically at all. And for visually they do things that make them so exposed that one mistake essentially ruins the effect. 99% of the people see this activity as a competition. That other 1% see it as a way of expression in ways that you can’t see on a score sheet.

Crazy that 3 of the bands on this list (Hebron, Flower Mound, and Marcus) are literally in the same school district. The power of these Texas bands is insane!!!

I know this isnt about entertainment but, Castle and The Woodlands had the most entertaining shows imo.

I believe that Flower mound should’ve won, IN MY OPINION flower mounds music, and show in general was more entertaining than hebrons not to talk bad about them but Hebrons show I believe hadn’t been excited like how it’s been for the past couple years and I also believe eh visuals looks better for flomo

Marcus didnt beat Vandergrift...Here is the top 10 for Texas State 6A UIL finals 1.Carrolton Hebron 2.Austin Vandegrift 3.Flower Mound 4.Cedar Park Vista Ridge 5.The Woodlands 6.Flower Mound Marcus 7.Coppell 8.Pearland 9.San Antonio Reagan 10.Round Rock Cedar Ridge I am also going to say that its a shame that the Texas schools dont participate in BOA more...but the timing of it and UIL make it difficult. AND I think a win at Texas state UIL is considered more prestigious, due to the overall talent of the bench in Texas. I think Vandegrift has gone once and won BOA in 2019
