I was talking to an acquaintance a few years ago, out on the balcony, in the middle of the night, smoking. I don’t remember why but our conversation somehow led to the topic of depression. Now, this guy did not know that I am [redacted], so his whimsical remarks about depression was kind of insulting to me. But neither that or this conversation is about me, and the only thing I want you to know about that conversation is just one thing he said.
“If depression didn’t exist, we wouldn’t have the greats and their works. Dostoyevsky, Nietzsche, Hemingway, Edgar Allan Poe and alike.”
Really? Fucking really? Who cares! Let me tell you wholeheartedly: I wish Dostoyevsky lived a happy and fulfilling life, was just an ordinary man, and did not feel the urge to write his books. They are great books, don’t get me wrong. They enable us to see deeper into the human psyche. But, but please for one second stop and imagine the pain he went through. They all went through.
Minds drenched in alcohol, lungs filled with tar from cheap cigarettes, nights spent alone in darkness thinking about ending it all. For years.
On one night in which depression manifested itself yet again in my brain, like it always does every once in a while, this video was born. Was never meant to be uploaded. Especially after my previous video, this one strokes a great contrast, and stresses how my mind generally works, as a [redacted].
The pendulum swings, yet again. I hope to catch you on the other side. Until then, take care.

On your thoughts, I believe that eccentric people always feel lost until they find their unique purpose that suits their way of perceiving the world, and then, they love to be lost. Well well well if it isn't the eyelay2908, the one and only! I have to admit, yes, exurb1a has been a huge inspiration of mine. Now that I think about it, he might be the main reason I found the courage to create something that I would deem cringe if someone else did it. Openly displaying emotions has never been my strongest suit, especially in the last couple of years. I hope you yourself are doing well old friend. And yes, every new beginning does come from some other beginning's end, I remember that night of 2013 very well. The good old days. Well, let us hope that better days await us. And if not, well, we will persevere just as well.
