what are the cam specs?

Did you have to grind any spots in the block for clearance due to the long stroke crank?

You lost me at roller camshaft. I don't want a garbage roller cam. Because if I'm going to buy an engine that big I want a real aggressive choppy cam profile. I want that damn thing to chop like the 632 Big Block in a 2023 COPO Camaro. But I'm just looking for a Ford competitor to that engine.

I have a new 438 stroker kit that i had used only for about 10,000 miles, and I got rear-ended one night. How much would it cost to have it rebuild with a new Dart block? Or.. an aluminum block ?

I always knew this was possible, 25 years ago. I just don't understand these guys with a 572 Hemi, 270x.700 roller cams and ported stage V hemi heads, fuel injection and a race 10-71 struggling to get 1k hp. A rowdy street driven 572 N/A hemi by FHO will do that all day.

I need help...my dad has built race cars his whole life. But now he has memory issues were thinking dementia. He cant remember most of what i need to know to help keep his cars running. He has. 1973 gremlin with a 406 sbc 6-71 blower on it and im hearing a noise behind the belts right on the front of the motor. It sounds really clanky when its a low idle. Give it some gas and it goes away. Ive looked into the gear oil and other things but im so scared to mess somthing up even more. I just wish i knew what was causing the noise

Engine doesnt know if its on the street or track. So add some VP or Torco to a full tank of premium its cheap in the long run. 2 pts less compression isnt gonna make it more streetable. Youll just lose torque and throttle response.
