Very good video! I am thinking of buying this kit for a motor-home. I also wonder about those two thin yellow and green cables. Could it be that they function as a comparator? Let me explain: the control system sets a voltage between 0 and 5 volts, where 0 will be the minimum temperature attainable and 5 will be the maximum temperature. Then a temperature sensor placed at the blower inlet will translate between 0 and 5 volts as well. If we set 2.5 volts on the digital control, for example, when the sensor reaches half of its scale, that is, 2.5 volts, after translating from temperature to voltage it will begin to lower the RPM of the compressor until the temperature begins to rise slightly. In this way, energy efficiency is achieved and the desired temperature is maintained stable. Aside from those accessories, of course you should have the compressor temperature sensor for protection, as you mentioned, also the pressure switch, to control the high and low pressure, especially the high pressure, but also the low pressure, in case there is a likeo, the compressor stops, to avoid breakage due to lack of lubrication. Aparte de esos accesorios, por supuesto debería tener el sensor de temperatura del compresor para su protección, como has mencionado, tambien el presostato, para controlar la presión de alta y baja, sobre todo la de alta presión, pero de baja tambien, por si existiera un likeo, se detenga el compresor, para evitar rotura por falta de lubricación. My oem low pressure setup breaks ground, i assume i couldnjust wire the same as your second page but use a relay between closed side of low pressure switch to ground a 4 pin relay and pull 12v to green wire on inverter?

saludos amigo teddy, compre uno de esos directamente desde china, el mio es un poco diferente pero sigo con dudas respecto a la conexion especificamente en los dos ultimos terminales de arriba hacia abajo, en su caso es verde y amarillo, en mi caso es verde y negro, segun un pequeño diagrama que me envio el proveedor el cable verde es "TX fault feedback line"y el negro es "9v-19v signal line 1 square green" asi tal cual esta escrito, puedo entender que quizas el cable negro señal 9 a 19v es el cable de señal que sale de un sensor de presion de 3 pines, pero el cable TX color verde no lo termino de entender, si usted pudo solucionar y me puede ayudar le estare muy agradecido, mi auto es viejo no hay ECM que controle el sistema A/C, asi que lo conectare de manera clasica con el boton en el tablero y un termostato analogico como el que se usa en los sistemas domesticos de aire acondicionado, pero me falta informacion para estar claro en lo que hare, tengo compresor, evaporador, valvula de expansion, lineas, filtro, sensor de pesion todo esta totalmente nuevo, en mi pais no hace tanto calor y mi auto es pequeño puede resultar bien, pero no quiero quemar nada! estare muy agradecido cualquier ayuda de su parte!

If you rotate those clamps 180° opposed for each other they will sell a little bit better

Is that diode absolutely necessary or have to be there it's the factory AC compressor clutch switch has a diode too

I'm pretty sure that they eliminated the circuit to you so you could use your factory pressure switch it's what I'm trying to do let me know if you have any hope with that I think you just need to disconnect or cut the wire to one of the pressure switches probably the high side and connect those wires to the left and the right terminal of the pressure switch so that way whenever the fan gets to those pressures only problem is some of these switches don't come on unless you have pressure so you have to install the whole system

How do you connect this so it doesn’t constantly draw power from the battery when the keys are out? I’ve wired mine up to the battery but the green light is always blinking which I assume would draw the power of the battery down over time if the car sits for a while

First impressions is it’s underpowered at 12V. Physics can’t be overcome as you will be pulling lots of amps. IMHO - Really needs 72v to provide enough cooling for most vehicles.

I have one of these in my 55 plymouth.. Its only going to cool around 20 degrees cooler than your ambient temp.. These are mostly designed for RV's or truckers... It will maintain cooling for an already cooled room... I wasted lots of money on my unit to get it running as an alternate solution to drilling into the block and fabricating stuff for an ac system in my plymouth.. I made a rear mount trunk system with a custom evaporator and pusher fans to suck air from the evap through package tray vents.. Its loud.. I have 4 100ah lithium phosphate batteries running my system and it will stay running for about 4 hours.. My condensor is mounted on the bottom of the car with a fan.. How much freon is a mystery as the readings are never what they are supposed to be.. I have 48 ounces of r-134a in mine and the high side is still not where its supposed to be... I tried it also with 24 ounces of freon and the high side was very very low along with the low side.. Again only going to cool 20 degrees lower than the ambient temp... The green wire from mine is ran from the controller through my pressure switch to the evap... So when the evap is turned on it sends 12-13 volts through the pressure switch to that trigger input initially turning on the compressor.. The speed changes are useless it seems to only work at one speed.. There is supposed to be a controller module you can purchase that has a screen and settings. It is showing this in my book perhaps this is how you get it to run cooler.. I have yet to see a video on start to finish on these.

I have two of these systems... My green wire is ran from the controller through the pressure switch to the trigger wire from my evaporator... That yellow wire does nothing.... The ones I have purchased have a safety link from the controller to the compressor.. Some have these and some don't... However I can tell you from using these its only going to put out 20 degrees difference from ambient temp.. If its 100 degrees Fahrenheit outside the best it will put out is 80 degrees.. And how much freon you put into these compressors is a mystery.. I have 3 12 ounce cans in mine and low side is around 60PSI and High Side around 140PSI... I try to follow the standard chart for R-134a and its never correct... Maybe someone can tell me how to get these systems to cool better.

If you are still looking for an answer, you dont really need that yellow wire. Mine internal unit came with the control panel and stuff that I didnt need, so I just replaced it with the simple thermostat with the temp probe which has to be only connected to the +12/24 and green one as it is now. Works perfectly. I had made my own diagram for this 😂

I have one almost like yours how much ester oil do you add and I only have the block where the smaller wires are on the compressor and the large you have going to your power block are on the compressor and I got no instructions with this kit and no response from the company

So glad I found this video and info, I’ve been looking for weeks for info on this compressor. I’ve got mine setup with a new under dash system from old air manufacturing. I’m assuming the trigger wire to turn the compressor on is the green wire? I’m using the condenser fan controls and hi/low switches built into the under dash unit and not the ones on the compressor module. Do you know if this will work, only hooking up the (green) trigger wire on the comp. Sorry so many question but I can find any info on this unit. Tia
