Exploring Ganz Mavag Train with CFM Moldova: A Day on Moldova Railways
This train journey is really unique!
A 4-car d1 diesel train produced in the 1960s and 1980s by the Hungarians manufacturer Ganz MAVAG for the Soviet railways.
Suprisingly, this train still runs for Moldova railways by CFM Moldova.
We wanted to buy tickets at the Chisinau railway station, we were told that ticket's could be bought inside the train.
You won't find much information about this train.
Departure from: Chisinau

Arrival to: Visterniceni
Travel time: 12 minutes

It must have had a more glorious past. Now everything is outdated. Ukrainians were mislead. This shows the direction of where Romania is headed. Serbia got more upgraded shiny new train line with Hungary.

Первый раз я ездил в этом поезде в 2008 году ещё было мало народу так как требовались визы.А после ещё много раз.Помню отличных проводников. Много времени провёл в баре.Незабываемые встречи с некоторыми людьми я общаюсь до сих пор.Выходил почти всегда в Унгенах. У меня есть мечта хоть ещё раз проехать на этом поезде. Why the exercise of changing bogies? Passangers can change the train & passports can be checked at the same time. Saves a lot of time.

Ну положим 60 лет назад у нас такие не ходили и просто не могли ходить, поскольку их тогда не было .Это шоколадный аммендорф, думаю ему максимум лет 40. Этот вагон середины 80-х.

У CFM денег нет на новых вагонов, а вагоны РИЦ не совсем удобны,до Бухареста можно на обычных вагонах

А чем они плохи. Я ездел на этом поезде, в люкс вагоне, чисто, тепло, поезд как поезд. Мне лично намного комфортей (МНЕ) чем в европейских сидячих поездах.
