Today we got to work on a few different projects on the farm. The first thing we tackled was getting grain moved into the local elevator then we worked on the water outlet that froze open a week ago and then we ended the day with washing all the mud off the tractor that was caked on there from getting stuck. QUADTRAC AND SCRAPER GET STUCK IN MUD!

Our quadtrac got stuck in the mud while doing ditch work and had to be pulled out by three tractors! The ground is freezing up so we were concerned about getting it out soon. luckily we had good neighbors that brought tractors to help pull it out!

100+ Year Old Aermotor Windmill Being Put Back Up (Drone Footage)

One of the original windmills on the farm being put back up. This windmill is over 100 years old and has gone through a rebuild. This will be used to run a water feature in the yard when completed.

Grain tuck races in Lind Washington. Once a year lind hosts their combine demolition derby 2nd weekend in June, aside from the combines they also have wheat truck races, pickup races and car races. Here's a look inside a grain truck as it makes it's way around the track.

Ello - I'm doing a similar build and I'm curious to which radiator your using that has the inlet/outlets on swapped from what stock 73-79 ford radiators come with.
Champion radiators. They have a option for chevy inlets and outlets so it's opposite of ford

Nice that you used the original Ford chassis instead of dropping this body onto a dodge frame. So many guys do it that way.

those are not original rear springs are they?
Yes original rear springs. The plan is to change them out and get rid of the blocks
@@nwfarmer8724 interesting. i dont recall them as long as those. then ford went to shorter springs in the 80's which is to say no springs at all. (1986 f350 dually 4x, if youve never been abused by one of those, youve never suffered real abuse at the whim of a truck). i would wager this truck rides rather smoothly. ford did similar with front shackles. first in back, then in front then back , then bolloxed the whole mess for coils

Its a product called chassis saver. Identical to POR 15

Yes it would fit but the bed needs to be a bit wider so tires don't stick out

Depends, they make adapter plates for cummins to many transmissions. I used a ford zf-5 transmission and got the proper adapter plate for that. You can use a stock dodge auto or manual trans. Or look in ford or chevy trans

Hey bud what are the seat rails from to mount the seats
Bought the rails straight from corbeau seats. I believe they are the generic 1 inch tall mounts. Then i made brackets to hold those

It was a small machine shop in idaho that was building them. Dont think they are anymore. You can get them from diesel conversion specialist

I'm almost done with my build but need help with the ignition switch wiring and alternator wiring as well. Do you think you could help me
On the ignition wiring i used the ford coil wire for the "hold" wire on the shut off soleniod. Ran a wire from the starter solenoid to the "pull" wire on the shit of solenoid. I ran a external regulator off a older dodge for the charging system.
