Hi Guy. I'm from Brazil and I'm watching your video right now. Japan is really a fantastic country to explore by bike. I love mountain biking. I have a question for you: did you always do the same route to get back your car? Cingretulations!
@@joaoleiteneto668 hey Joao! Thank you! Not really! I always try to explore different roads before closing the loop back to the car. Here's an example: strava.app.link/X3pWpVslVPb
Wow, for Japanese people🇯🇵, Shibu Touge is a place that we go by car or motorbike😂. It’s very impressed to see foreigner went there by bicycle😊. I wish you enjoy my country more and more.
Thank you, my friend! I do see a lot of motorbikes and cars up there! It's such a beautiful country and I want to explore even more! 😄
How do you find the t600 after some time with it? Mainly interested in durability? And also responsiveness in zwift to gradient changes etc? Would you buy it again if given the choice?
@@davidcurrie2778 hi David! I can't speak for its durability because I haven't used it as much as the SB20. The T600 responds really well to the gradient.. until it doesn't. I find that when I went down to the largest cog, it started to stutter a bit at low cadence and high gradient >10%. Got smoother when shifted to a smaller cog. Despite this flaw that I've found, I will buy it again, definitely. It's compact, silent, feature-packed, future proof and I really like how instant power gets reflected on the screen. I even packed it inside my luggage when I had to go on a short trip in October 🤣 At this price range, it's competing with the entry level trainers of Wahoo, Garmin, Elite here in Singapore. So, it's q an easy choice for me! Hope that helps! Cycplus is making huge strides as far as I can tell. They have come up with their own proprietary electronic shifter that you can attach to your handlebar. (Similar to Zwift's Click). Now I'm just waiting for Magene to do the same 😆
thanks for the great and informative reply. Where I am it’s a similar story in its price relative to western brands entry level trainers so it’s sounding like an easy decision. I’ll look into the local supply for the t600 as it does sound the winner. One just question sorry, how does it perform in race mode?
@ I haven't tried it yet! Let me do that tonight haha 👍
Which month was it when you visit Korea? I would like to visit after watching your video
@@ynnuscycling7352 hey Sunny! This was in October. Fine weather! Enjoy!! 😊
So what is your overall opinion of the t600? Is it worth getting for a novice?
Hey @@jeremybrewer8337 ! IMO, i love it. It's feature-packed and relatively cost-effective. If you need a trainer with features that would at least last you a few years, I think it's a solid choice 👍

That was hands down THE BEST road riding in Japan video I've ever seen. You picked the most amazing climbs to ride and have reignited my plan to visit Japan to ride. We were supposed to go in 2020 but COVID hit and one off the group passed away. Maybe 2025 is the year!

Wow that's so amazing. Last year I took the bike only train from Tokyo (bbbase) and rode in Chiba. The year before I did the shimanami kaido. I need to check out the Shibu pass. Question... How was the driving in Japan... especially on highway with the etc card ?
@@sanynava hey Sany! Nice one! I've heard so much about Shimanami Kaido! Driving was great! Even the furthest location was always just 2H+ away. Lots of rest stops along the way as well. The rental came with the ETC card. Seamless but very expensive. It costs me SGD$200++ for the entire trip if I recall correctly.
@zwiftlegs that's awesome. I might do a rental next time , just need to get used to right hand drive 😂
Hi, how's the trainer at this point? Planning to buy one. Your input will be much appreciated. Thanks.
@@JoelG-f2c hi Joel! All good so far! I even packed it inside my luggage when I went on a holiday 2 months ago. That said, I still spend most of the time on the trainer bike. So I won't be the best person to talk about durability. It's smooth, quiet and very mobile. I put it behind my door 😄 It reads 1-2% higher than my Assiomas and Magene crank PM, but you can adjust the bias on the app. I like it and it's a solid backup if my Stages bike goes down. Hopefully it will never come to that. 🤣 Hope this helps! 👍
我通常都在想,誰會買那些照片,原來真的有,是外國人,他們難得來。要是我去國外,可能我也會買。😂😂
@@youtubechangemynamewhy 花点钱,买些回忆,值得的哈哈!下次去还会再买 🤣👍
Fantastic video! and some truly incredibly climbs in there. Looks like you got pretty great weather throughout as well. I did a S-N of Japan earlier in the year with a couple of buddies (just uploaded my own video), and the countryside climbs through the Kiso Valley (Tsumago-juku etc.) was my favourite part. An epic place to go for a ride, and the food feels so well deserved. All the best
@@OscarBoyd hey Oscar! Thanks for your kind words! Wow, that looks like an adventure! I'll definitely hop over to watch in the next few days when I'm on the trainer! 💪👍
