I think sigma 200 to 500mm f2.8 is the best plus it comes with teleconverter can reach 1000mm it is better than f5.6 lieca u can't beat f2.8 than f5.6 it is so dark already

Well this is really about videography. I prefer camcorders over dslrs. Because I'd rather not have to worry about not having enough time to record my videos. It would be nice to see a video about this. Also not worrying about overheating.

Wow, I've never considered the ethics of photographing anything except for humans. This all makes sense to me, someone who hurts mother earth never deserved to capture its likeness! Subbed! BTW on a slightly related note... if you have a sec, I just posted a silly light hearted childish look into the ethics of wide angle close up vs telephoto voyeurism when shooting the public. On iPhone, go to settings>camera>show grid > on. This will put the grid automatically on your camera view, very useful!

Nice. I just picked this up for my second camera for a podcast studio. Cam 1 is a Sony ZV-10 with a 50mm 1.8. Auto focus is great with the Sony. Do you have suggestions for similar camera, maybe even 35mm 1.8 that will be able to handle auto focus in a controlled studio?

I'm interested in something like this for the weather proofing. I was looking at the G90/95. But, I could get a used G9 for cheaper. That's crazy!!! But, to be honest, the only thing that causes me pause is, it has a 16meg sensor. I know that it shouldn't be a problem. Maybe more psychological😉

I have one of them. I love it for stills... most of the time. I don't like for video, the AF is not good at all. I am planning on selling it.

$98,200 for the camera body ALONE. On top of that, you need to buy licenses to use features on the camera like “high speed,” ARRIRAW (raw format), and anamorphic/4:9. Each costs around $4k, and there are others. Then you need lenses and lens mounts, which can quickly reach hundreds of thousands with name brands like the ARRI master primes, Zeiss supreme primes, Cooke lenses, and the angenieux optimos. You then need special memory cards called CFast cards or other memory storage devices. In addition, at least for the ARRI LF, you need a box full of computers to wheel around even to process the footage. There are also other things like EVFs (electronic viewfinders), cages, special mounts, cables (EVF, sdi, bat, ext, tc), v-mounts and v-mount batteries or gold-mounts and gold-mount batteries, dovetail plates, etc. The camera is also so exclusive that you can’t even buy one. If you have the money, you can only rent it from ARRI, which costs around $10k weekly. However, I’ve used one, and the image quality is stunning and incomparable, making it well worth the price.
