    SEAFARERS RIGHTS & BENIFITS MARITIME LABOR CASES EXPERT if you are a SEAFARER, Finish Contract or Repatriated Contracted to illness or Injury. You should report to your company 72 hours upon arrival in the philippines . Eto po ung mga benifits na makukuha nyo pag dating ninyo dito sa pilipinas. 1. Free medication here in the Philippines. - Ang medication po ng isang seafarer na aksidente/injury or illness on board ay tumatagal ng 120 days pero sa bago pong batas pinapayagan ang company doctors na iextend ang gamutan na hindi lalagpas sa 240days. 2. SEAFARERS who are under Medication will have basic salary or Sickness Allowance for 4months and also you can reimburse all your transportation expenses while you are under medication. 3. A SEAFARER is entitled to FILE a DISABILITY BENEFITS. (A seaman has more benefits if he is a union member or may Collective Bargaining Agreement o CBA ang kanyang barkong sinasakyan, like TCC, JSU, NIS, ITF, PSU, AMOSUP , etc…) ~ Kung kayo po ay may kamag anak o kakilala maari nyo po silang irefer sa aming Tanggapan upang mabigyan ko po sila ng Tama at Sapat na impormasyon na kailangan nila para hindi sila madala sa mga pangakong kani-kanilang mga ahensya☺.     After you heave up with the wench, do you use the brakes on the wench to hold the tension of the various lines or do you wrap figure 8s on the Double Bitt Bollard ? How do have to loosen or tighten in accordance to the fluctuating tides throughout your stay at the port ? thanks for the vlog.

      Yes you hold lines with brake on the drum,then take winch out of gear and heave in other lines on Drum end,when in position a rope stopper is used to hold tension on rope before slacken rope off drum then turn up on Bits using figure of eight With tides you watch gangway,and moorings,heaving in at Low Tide,and slacken off moorings at High water

      @@michaelmoran1964 I also noticed that Rat Guards are placed about 1 to 2 meters from ship end. Would it not be better to place it 1 to 2 meter from Bollard end ? This way you don't allow rats to even get close to the ship. I know it is a hassel to come down the gangway to the Jetty and place them. I am not in the Merchant Marine industry. Just wondering. thanks.
