Do you have recommendations for a mini tart time size? - the top is around 6cm but the tops of the fluted pastries I have cut get squished on the top because the tart pan is around 2.5cm deep (the way I want it!)

Where is flour or cornstarch in curd? I love lemon anything ❤ please
I've made a version of this many times and the egg yolks act as a thickener so you don't need cornstarch. Some recipes dont use egg but only cornstarch for thickening, especially storebought ones.
there is no cornstarch in classic curds :) you can use some if you are after a thicker filling, but its not necessary

I baked this recipe yesterday and turned out amazing! This is my first time trying frangipane. However, it is not for me. I didn't find anything really that interesting for me to say wow I am definitely going to bake this regularly. Is it delicious? Yes, it tastes nice. But for me, there are better cakes out there.
