This big kit should have came with opening doors and trunk!!🤔🤔 In this scale size, it should have came from the factory like that!! It would be nice, just to build it like it is, but, at the same time, Lame!, If you don't make the doors and trunk open! 🧐🧐

I scratch build all my 1/8th scale muscle cars free-hand I turned one of them Pontiacs into a Camaro back in the early 90s

Doors won't open unless you do a lot of scratch building yourself. These 1/8th scale Monogram/Revell kits are basically upscaled 1/24th scale kits. A bit more detail, but not a lot. I still love them though.

Hi Will. In 1981, I bought my first car, a new 1981 Trans Am, blue. I had it for 13 years, restoring it twice. The second restoration meant a new paint-job (that didn't match the original blue very well) and the Mylar screaming chicken hood decal had to be sacrificed - gone forever. Linked in this note is a video showing the same car I'd owned (not mine, though), with the correct shade of blue that was used in a small number of Trans Ams. I recently bought the Revell 1/8 scale 1979 Trans Am a few months ago, and will be keenly watching your build. I'm hoping you will go for this colour in your build, as that was what I had owned, and will wish to know how to get the colour scheme just right. All the best wishes to you. Enjoy! I had barely begun my model of this Pontiac Firebird, when this Tremor began. Shaking right hands and arm made impossible to build it. So I gave it away. Before I had started building it I decided that the body should be painted in Humbrol nr. 222(Metallic Blue)

Finally, someone who actually builds the O gauge mallard.

Wills workshop. I previously installed this on my kit, but the controller didn’t get fully set up and I don’t know how to reset so that way I can fully activate the controller because button seven does not do anything to work the lights

I’m not sure why they said to leave out the black cover over the circuitboard, but I tested it and you can still use that black cover over the circuit board and it doesn’t interfere with any of the electronics

I’m just waiting on mine to leave Kansas City and make it to me. I should’ve had it last Tuesday or Saturday, but as of today it was still sitting in Kansas City like normal takes a week for it to come to me. And I also bought the partwork upgrades, power mode for this car.

I'm still waiting for issue 63 (rear left passenger backrest) before I can install the interior floor, and I've not got the front wings yet or the rear light section. So the only thing I really need to dismantle is the dashboard itself. However, this all seems a bit out of my skill-set as a first-time builder, so nice job Will

Chloe's monitors do work actually with the dash. I have them the problem you run into is the lower panel her housing doesn't fit the lower dash upgrade with the ribbon because of the light tunnels Mike has on the PANP lights but if you remove that part of her housing and hot glue the light tunnels in place it works fine except the monitors obviously don't sync with dash. But there isn't a need to switch them out of you don't want to and don't care about the lower ribbon piece being there or you can put it in as I did. But WARNING the ribbon is SUPER FRAGILE and WILL BECOME DAMAGED if you don't handle it extremely carefully!!
