Cocaine Rodeo is the debut album by American metal/punk band Mondo Generator, released on Southern Lord Records in 2000. It was compiled of material recorded by vocalist/bassist Nick Oliveri with an Austin, Texas punk band and his ex-Kyuss bandmates. Recorded in 1997, the material was shelved for three years due to Oliveri's full-time commitment to Queens Of The Stone Age. Several of the songs ...

Lot of Fugazi traits but that is absolutely no problem! :D
One of the best!!!!
A 100% solid album. Also, I met Nick Oliveri once and he is the only person in my life that had pronounced my name correctly.
Te song Mistfit Love is the best live performance ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a band, in this setup! The best of the best and a saw at live 2008! Never forget!
Simple Exploding Man is amazing
I hear some Black Flag
Big show
p̲r̲o̲m̲o̲s̲m̲ ⭐
To me Joey Castillo was the best drummer QOTSA had
I think Dave grohl is better tbh because he is the goat, and Jon Theodore plays all the songs the way its suppose to be played, Joey was a little sloppy with some of the songs

Sweet
You Can’t Quit Me Baby ❤️🔥❤️🔥
Bittersweet for me...more sweet...
26:10 HAHAHHAHAHA I LOVE IT !!!!!!!
killer stuff man, this guy is cool
Queens of the Stone Age? More like, Queens of the Nudist Colony am I right?
That riff is too good to exist.
joey is such a monster that he's able to speed up playing that doubles strokes pedal in Sick Sick Sick. one of the greatest drummers
urgh there is not enough love to nuture mr nick. just too much amazin
Troy Van Leeuwen doing backing vocals on "First it Giveth" in 2003 is rare, especially when Nick is supposed to do backing vocals on said song.
💕 favorite band and singer badass fucker lol 😂💋
Pure Octane
This is the last performance of "No One Knows" where Josh uses his Black Ovation GP (instead of his Wine Red). This is due to his tech putting out his Wine Red GP for the first seven of the C-tuned songs, before his tech put out his Black GP for the last three C-tuned songs.
I've seen horrors... Horrors that you've seen
that middle part of monsters was a total surprise
nice and fast, just the way it should be
I was backstage for this show. Great stuff.
Dry ass crowd... love this fucking band
Europeans were, for many years straight laced, they’re not the freaks Yanks can be at shows
holy shit. they actually played Era Vulgaris live 0_0
Sound astronimic
Unless I Can Kill is the song.
Shawnette is superior
a more noise / punk rock approach to the former kyuss sound , an astounding effort , really !!!
Holy balls they played that so fast!
My number is 666!! :D
I read on Wikipedia he was arrested for Performing like this at a Performance in Brazil.
This is Brazil my dude, he was arrested after the show
Totally true, I believe there are pictures of him being taken by the cops. Public nudity is not allowed in Brazil, so at a point they got the word that if Nick didn't put on some chores that they would pull the plug (right before Quick and Pointless).
It was this very performance!
@@ThatRemasterGuyyou're wrong. Public nudity is allowed but just for women on the Carnival. lol
The best drumer, Nick miss you!!!
fuck this is music, queens of stone age are too pop for my taste. kyuss are gods
I loved QOTSA around the time of this album. Now it's like a light version. I miss the danger that Nick brought to the show.
@@HannibalOrJustRex it seems like the more control Josh took over QOTSA, the worse it got. I've always loved his guitar playing, but I don't even know what that Villains (and the 2-3 before it) is supposed to be, sounds like a rip off of the '80s, the'50s, and disco.
Just one question, Joey. Can you play it faster?
in the dark old days before youtube had a 1.5x speed option, we had to make do with Joey
@@esolitares "the lost art of keeping a tempo" that's hilarious.. though I think you kinda missed the trick with the second one though, I would've went with "the metronome took a shit and died" but maybe that's just me

Saw the guys in Brazil, Nick is a very nice person, original and the song is fuking awesome live.....Good drummer, flexible vocals, fucking awesome energizing riffs and a lot.... Thank you nick for the good show in Campinas!!!!!
bons tempos em campinas
Who the fuck thumbed down?! Witch hunt!!!
I really appreciate the upload. I also dig the description you wrote up on it. I always like to hear the stories behind the bands and their music.
Anarchy in the u.k. cocain 😀
Holy shit! Where has this been all my life! What matters is that it exists there now.
Groovy as QOTSA but not poppy, which is great!
@@BigMacSoss I enjoy all the QOTSA stuff (except Era Vulgaris which I couldn't get into), but yeah, first three are a totally different ball game.
@@davebacon4 josh disbanded kyuss 3 albums to soon. he had a little kyuss still left in the tank.
@@BigMacSoss ,josh could quit the kyuss vibe cold turkey. therefor the albums up to and including songs for the deaf
I love the latest incarnation of QOTSA but I'd be lying if I said they aren't missing that something that is present here.
They're missing Nick Oliveri and Mark Langan. Josh is a poser
Not too often I like the sound of a production studio, but this is one time the acoustic doesn't do it justice.
mikey SHOEZ is fuckin rad dude!
misfit love god DAMN
the first band that comes up makes me realize once again why qotsa is so goddamn fucking amazing.
wow ! Nick is fucking crazy! amazing album.
