Is it easy to maintain slower speeds with the new PWR system? I have the old speed limited controller and it's easy to maintain 6-10 mph in group rides. I have heard with the PWR system even low pedal assist levels tend to shoot you up into 14+mph. Did you find this was the case?

Can you make a video showing how to change the pedal assist setting to 7 mines at 5

Is the ride1up Portola saddle comfortable?

Whose customer service do you trust should be the deciding factor IMHO. I've heard better things about Lectric, but do your own research.

Its nice watching an honest review for a change. UA-cam is loaded with way too many shills, with an agenda. You really have to sort out the shills no matter what item you're interested in purchasing when watching a "UA-cam review".

I have a 2018rad wagon going uphill or struggling on a bike electric 3.0 might be good for me

Here is my one year update on my 3.0 bike. I first want to state, this is a fun bike to ride and it gets positive comments everywhere i go. When riding the beach trails here in Gulf Shores, AL. i see many more of these bikes on the trails so they are very popular. I now have about 2300 miles on the bike and have the following observations. The rear tires only seem to last about 800-1000 miles, the front tires seem to last a little longer. I am on my third set of tires at 2300 miles. I did the factory upgrade for the hydraulic brakes in July and had to replace the rear brake line and assembly because it developed a leak within a month. The battery failed to hold a charge after just 3-4 months and got a replacement under warranty. The warranty people and service folks at Lectric have been great to deal with. The cost of upgrades and maintainence is around $385.00 so far. Anyone having better or worse luck with their bike? Let me know.

In addition, people have adopted a posture of thinking they can criticize with anonymity. These same people use profile names that are all but impossible to trace, to protect them from retribution for their rudeness. Personally, I view that as a statement about their lack of character and integrity. I am comtemplating a purchase of a foldable ebike for my wife and I. Great video and love the scenery! I just ordered a new battery for my XP v1.0 after 2000 miles as the battery was shutting down after 20 miles class 2 with PAS 3 fully pedal riding. Thought long & hard between new 3.0 or battery and ultimately, chose battery as 1.0 is still looking & riding well with exception of battery. Customer Service was excellent at Lectric and final decision was synced by new battery would fit into my next Lectric XP 3.0 when the original is “put out to pasture”. Our weather conditions here in Canada are not as warm as your locale but I ride my XP to work 4 days a week at 4-5 am and at 48 degrees Fahrenheit and with proper clothing & lighting it is perfection. Will sub and review all posts. Thanks.

I just got my 3.0 about a week ago. There was a hole in the front tire inner tube; tried patching but ended up driving 2 hours to a bike shop to buy a new tube. Lectric is sending me new tubes, but won't get to me until Monday and I want to ride it this weekend. I've gone about 6 miles (not much!) and it's a lot of fun. I'm 65 and wanting to have a fun ride and get some exercise. I try to watch a lot of videos to learn more and yours was great. Thanks!

why did you buy the 27.2 mm - 31.8 mm seat post shim?

Vakole C020 is dual motor clone of that and it is beter opion.

Is there a difference in pedaling between the Standard and the Step-thru?? I know the Step-thru pedals are lower. If there is a difference, which is better?

I just got one of these. But on mine, there is a huge jump from PAS1 to PAS2. From 2 on, there really isn't all that much difference. It's gradual like you'd expect. But that jump from 1 to 2 makes it kind of difficult to control on the desert mountain trails I've had it on. Anyone else have this?

Got my first ebike ride this morning, Lectric 2.0 ST. Absolutely loved it and will soon buy one. Price and fun factor we’re the deciders. Been riding bikes for 65 years since I was 5, at my age enjoyed the motor help but still want to do as much of the work as possible. The changes will make the 3.0 even more of what I want although the throttle will be the first thing to go, I don’t need or want it.

My 3.0 has the 14aH battery. The old motor controller. I’m 260 pounds. On a bike path with some decent hills, PAS 2 mostly but some all throttle to give my bad knee a rest, Strava said 37 miles @ 10.5 mph average speed. I got about 1/4 mile from home and the battery would not give any throttle power but there still seemed to be pedal assist yet. What timing! I was concerned the last few miles.

Nice video. Etsy sells some accessories for the Lectric ebikes. I picked up a screen cover that snaps onto the computer and has volts on one side and battery % on the other side printed on the cover. From top to bottom the volts start at 54% to the left of the screen and you look to the right of the screen and that would be 100%. The volts go from 54% to 42% and the battery goes from 100% to 0% so at a quick glance you can visually see the battery remaining without relying on the bar graph. Comes in different colors as well. When my warranty runs out on my Lectric 3.0 long range I'm thinking about getting a 2nd battery to mount below the seat post area to double the amp hours to 28aH in my case. But time will tell. My rides usually do not drain the battery so I might not go that route.

At 220 lbs my max distance is 25 miles - making the newest bikes coming out with big batteries very attractive.

I ended up with the Serfas full suspension gel set. Haven’t setteled on a suspension post, tried a couple straight versions, but lookin at trying the suntour. Wondering why you chose the smaller diameter post/shim and not the 31.6 size?
