Hi thanks for watching and for your comment! I agree that this is an amazing song - a great guitar anthem of sorts! Actually the entire Grey Ghost album is worth listening to if you haven't already - a diverse collection of great tunes and amazing playing. As for tips on getting your first guitar, if you know someone who plays and could go with you to a guitar store, they could help you pick out a guitar that has the kind of sound/tone that you might like, and more importantly make sure you get a guitar that is set up correctly so it plays easily and in tune. I've never taken a lesson - I've just been self-taught and figured things out on my own but I'm sure there are lots of teachers out there who can help you progress a lot faster than I did learning on my own! Thanks for the kind comment! This song is a great example of Billy G’s creativity. Interesting chord changes with arpeggios and lots of tasty touches thrown in that add so much to the sound. Oh man! Thanks for the very kind comment! I'm so glad to hear that someone appreciates him and this song! This is one of the greatest guitar anthems that I'd guess a lot of people have never heard. Not only is the song and playing in it fabulous, but that whole album is so musical and creative. It's one you can listen to start to finish and just be amazed by the different styles and musicality of the various songs. I remember the first time I ever heard this song, I thought "man, I'd love to be able to play that"! It took a long time for a self-taught hack like me to even get close to being able to play it, but it's certainly fun to try! Thanks again! Cheers! Andy

Thanks for the comment! I saw him, with Tedeschi Trucks Band and Marcus King in Fort Worth on June 15. He opened with White Horse - wow I'm shocked he didn't play it in Cleveland. I bet they were screaming for it - such a wonderfully constructed and great sounding song. Wonder why he didn't play it??
