As an expat i was overseas watching it. I returned home in september 2023 (finally, since I lacked the required medical credentials to be there much sooner). I was PTSD from watching my people take rubber pellets fired at them in front of our shrine and so much more. Once home I couldn't have one conversation with friends, family, neighbors. They couldn't acknowlege what had happened. It was immensely distressing and was the basis for a decision that I can't return there.

You seem so much more grounded now than say 2 years ago. I’m happy for you :)
