The issue I have since owning my 2010 Venza (purchased pre-owned in 2012) is the dome light housing will detach from the roof starting with the edge towards the back and if I don’t catch it early (every 3-4 days) the whole unit will eventually hang by the wires.

I use Bosch on my 2011 Venza also I’ve had reflex ones ! I also have used Rain x windshield treatment on my cars ! Not great on the Venza . unfortunately cause the wipers to chatter to much ?

I've never use the Rain-X treatment just the wipers, but that's also good info to know thank you for sharing.

Thanks a lot, this helped my fix my Camry after I removed the glove box to change air filter. The whole video was great except the tires screeching noise at the start ;)

Thanks for the video, would never have done it without breaking something. Any idea on how to replace the glove box light?

    • @hashim07khan

I changed mine today, take the glove box out by disconnecting the shock on the right side, pull the sides of the box inward and it should come all the way down. This exposes the 3 screws on the top and 1 on the bottom. There is a 10mm bolt on the right side that may need to come out, I didn't take It out. Remove all the screws and pull the housing down, this will un-clip it allowing you to get access to the bulb housing. The bulb sits inside the glove box light switch. Press the 2 tabs inward and pull the switch. This will remove the switch housing. Disconnect it and now you can replace the glove box light. Use a needle nose plier to remove the bulb. Installation is reverse. Took me about 20 min, best of luck!

Nice video but still didn't give me an exact way to get the light out and when I did I can't put it back in and it was so annoying for me after it kept dropping I chopped off the wires for the time being 😂

I found this one was easier for me. The clips were too hard for me. I changed all my dome lights in my 2009 Toyota I went through so many video. This one was helpful with figuring out how to take off the dome in the back seat. Then I click the video this guy posted about the light bulb which to press on the 4 clips but it was so hard for me then I ran into this other video made it a little more easier. Here u go ua-cam.com/video/MTeyi19cAac/v-deo.html

Try putting some synthetic motorcycle grease on the lower piston arm, I saw a lot of plastic powder on mine. I fixed a lot of small parts and appliances with that grease and they worked better than when they were new.
