How long do you have to work at FS to get the free type rating. Do you get to choose any? Why not go for the G650?
Great content brother! Subscribed ✅
How about contract work?
If it iss a business related flight, it will cost some up front, but a good portion, if not all of it can be a tax write off
i remember watching this video a while back as a freshman in high school and automatically made the choice to go airlines. However now that im close to getting my PPL and im at a 141 school I found myself stuck on whether to go to the airlines or corporate. I honestly just want to fly and I dont care much about money. Since this is how i think about flying the corporate's variety is super attractive cause there is many different kinds of planes and also being able to connect with the wealthy goes beyond just flying
It helps to be under 40 with a collage degree and 3,000 hours, some of that turbine time helps.
this thing skyrockets jesus christ
Hey, thanks for creating this channel. I have a question about scheduling. Are you able to choose what days you work on?
Can this jet fly from london to nyc directly nonstop?
As a corporate pilot do you get to be home every night to be with your family ?
Have I missed the landing in Heber City?
you have to add camera so that we see evrithing at different vues
"I would like to inquire a Citation Longitude pilot whether the aircraft can fly up to six to seven hours at its longest during long-distance flights, and if its long-range cruising speed is indeed 0.74 Mach."
over 7000 FPM on that initial climb wow!
I'm curious, what are the two little red balls on the center strut? They are just underneath the handle. Are they warning lights or something else?
This is a visual indicator for the correct seat hight. If you see the spheres in line, your seat hight is correct. BTW it are actually 3 spheres.
Great video I worked 135 for 6 years decided to take a part 91 job I love it but I am considering going back to 135 possibly flex jet or airlines not sure what I want to do at this point.
Im considering corporate with low time pilot great video
Citation are nice looking jets. I want to fly multi engine and corporate jets
That citation in the thumbnail with the blue design on it, im pretty sure I see that plane all the time fly in at our FBO at Miami signature. Is wonder if that’s you guys lol
*Spectacular view and that sunset just beyond the mountains! Was privileged to fly into Las Vegas at nighttime! Fell in instant-love ~ my experience did not disappoint!!!* 💖💖💚💚💖💖
I subscribed and liked before you even asked, but it was funny when you mentioned that it was free lol
I’m running an air charter simulation - very helpful…
What happened to the content? Are you still flying?
They have really cool FBO at KROG. Fly in there often and always good bunch, but yes, lots of jets there.
So, these costs I am assuming are just the cost to fly regardless of people. But if you have multiple people, or are willing to fly with random people, what would be the individual cost?
I’m super jealous…great video.👍
is this msfs?
Nice video very interesting! In your opinion, which one has more often early morning (4-7am) take offs? And which one has more often takeoffs after 9pm?
Nice video, so what made you move to airlines? I really ‘d like to know. Safe flights!
Nice video! I’m a real CJ3 Captain and i’m a Flight Simulator addicted, so good to see the real bird flying, i’m used to fly the Longitude on MS flight simulator, i build some throttle levers with AT/TOGA buttons and realy enjoy it. Today, for coincidence the N715VM (G550) is in my home town. Safe flights Captain!🙌🏻🙏🏻
I subscribed as soon as you mentioned you were also a band geek and drum line member. 🥁
The time savings of flying private is a huge deal. Even a 60 minute flight time via commercial airlines with a laptop bag requires an hour of pre-boarding time and another 30 minutes to de-plane and exit the terminal. If the project is in a small town with no commercial service, then you can expect even more time for ground transfers.
Im 46, kids are almost 18. Sounds like Corporate might be the way to go. Could still have a 20 year career.
Cool video 💥
Great stuff
Actually quite accurate. Nice job.
Hey man, I'm in the process of getting my private pilots license. If you could give me one piece of advice for getting hired as a part 135 pilot what would it be? The longitude is a dream plane of mine to pilot on a regular basis. Thank you for the inspiration.
when your not using the flight director command bars turn it off , can be confusing ....
My kids will fly private
Cool video
Great Video, but why cut out the first landing!?
Excellent info! Hope to meet you in person out in Vegas. I’ll be there for my training soon.
Awesome! I’m looking to move to train at a local academy there. The goal is to complete my flying certs and stay in the Loma Al area to fly corporate. Can I pick your expertise? Semper Fi, Manny
so whats the hll is wrong with Garmin. Isnt it pretty confusing to mix up metric and imperial units? Dont know if that is common thing but it kinda stick out on this video.
Do you have any videos with a RNAV approach? Great Flying !
Good stuff. Only thing I would quibble with is that corporate can be even better than you are describing (you seem to be talking about Part 135). Plenty of Part 91 corporate jobs out there now where you aren't on call all the time, get lots of time off, and get paid a lot of money. But networking is key.
music blown my ears, voice level too low
Update for the airlines' side of things. The regionals, specifically SkyWest, have changed their pay. First year first officers now make $92 an hour!
It's the same in the corporate world, though. Everything is going up. SICs in jet jobs are easily making $70-90K now starting, and if it's a Part 91 job, they work a heck of a lot less than an airline guy without any of the hassle of seniority.
Very instructive! Thanks. 👍
Ever have a passenger try to "light up" on the plane? I'd hope not, but gotta imagine it's happened somewhere.
Ron Wrights pilots called him in because he was smoking out the entire cabin
