So you have to live in a gated community and HOA for safety? I'd rather have a house without HOA. But probably not safe in Mexixo.
No, don't believe the hype! La Paz is an amazingly safe city, but some folks just really like the extra comfort of knowing that they're in a gated community - for the same reasons as anyone would in Canada or the US. My partner and I don't live in a gated community, and neither do my mom or my brother, and we all live a very comfortable and successful life here in La Paz!Thanks for watching the channel!
@@GordWilsonsBajaLife Well, the think is with that area of Mexico that it's better connected to the US than to the rest of Mexico. Obviously prices there reflect that. It also makes it safer than the rest of Mexico. But which neighborhoods are you talking about that are not gated? Does it still make sense to buy in there? Or would Dos Santos make more sense. Everything seems to be so expensive by now
It's fair to say that prices are rising, but I would counter that that's happening everywhere, and it's still typically a lot less expensive to live here than in most parts of Canada or the US. As for safety, we've never worried at all here. I do like Todos Santos also, but for me it's just a little small, and I prefer that La Paz has a lot of good infrastructure as far as hospitals and shopping etc.
@@GordWilsonsBajaLife They keep on saying how much Dos Santos Will grow and that that charm it holds will no longer be there in years to come. I have never been down there myself. Just looking into areas to consider

Hey I'm sexy and about to turn 70. lol Unless I'm looking into a mirror. Very good for you. It's all math. Calories in and calories burned. As long as calories burnt is always more than calories in. However do not over do it. Remember many of those health Guru's died young. Plus it's always amazing how easy it is going back down. Something to do with gravity I suppose.
I find going down is sometimes harder, because of my crummy knees! LOL

Naw Dave: you'd be proud - the diet is super strict and fantastic - nearly six weeks now and my clothes are loose! Amazing feeling and easy to continue. We just got a coffee from a bakery in Todos Santos that makes the greatest and most desirable sticky buns on planet earth! No temptation at all!!! 😎👌
