For sure. I mean, La Paz only averages one severe storm every ten years, but each July/August we get a few decent storms and it's not uncommon to lose power. Pretty awesome this house has so many backups.
They vary from year to year - the current year's HOA fees are listed in pesos in the listing - I think around 38000 last year (about $2k, so less than a few hundred bucks per month).
No - barely any. La Paz ranks super low in Mexican crime stats, phenomenally low in violent crime stats all over the continent. Considerably safer than most North American cities.
