@@jolicoeur007 Well it was a surprise to us also. We just randonmly talked to one of our neighbors, who had a labrador and she told us that they go to this dog spa. We were like "Whaat?? Really?!" 😀 So we went and tried it out and it was really nice after Isla got used to the idea 👍

@@quazisislam6679 Dont get depressed. It depends a lot about where you live, which breed you have and I would say most of all it depends on how many vet visits you will have to do. At least here in Finland it takes a ridiculous amount of money if something requiring immediate care should happen. For example, the total costs that we have had with Isla for the last 17 months is about 5500€, from which the vet has taken 4000€. So without injuries / accidents she would have cost us less than 100€ a month.

Huskys are amazing. There is a channel in YT "Skaya the Siberian husky" or something like that. I have personally liked their content very much. You should check it out 👍

Yes these toys are great especially now that Isla cant zoom around like usual because of the surgery about three weeks ago. She gets frustrated and barks a lot when she cant consume the energy she has so it is nice to make her solve these kinds of puzzles 👍

Yes, I would say. Depends a lot though about the individual dog. Our first smoothie would never touch water or swim and the current one absolutely loves swimming. Maybe it is inherited, I don't know 🤔 If I were you I would talk with the breeder about the puppies moms / dads preferences whether they swim or not. They are very lovely dogs and a lot of fun to have around. Some of them might bark a lot but I think it is in the herd dogs nature to at least bark sometimes 😄 I have put some swimming videos of our current smoothie on my channel, feel free to have a look👌

@@tetra3ne56scur3 No need for for the cone unless she has to be alone. Sometimes we make her wear it in the night, because she likes to lick and bite her leg and if we are asleep we might not wake up to it 👌

She wants to jump and bounce and run and swim mostly 😄

The pain patch is gone. She still has some pain medication but dosage is is less and less all the time 👍

She had a tendon on her hind leg that tore / was misplaced so the surgeon had to put it back on place ant reattach it. There is a video on my YT page about it, I think it is by the name "our dog needs a surgery".

Thanks for the very nice comment 😁 She has a harness which we use all the time. Except for now of course when she has to wear the protective bubble after the surgery so she won't lick the pain medication bandage that is patched on her side. It has I think morphine or something on it, so licking it might be lethal. That is why the collar. Can't wear the harness even outside now because it could tear off the med-bandage. We actually bought her a new collar, that is why you see two collars on her in this video. My spouse had just come home from a pet store with the new collar and we tested it on her when I decided to take some footage of her. Sorry if it is confusing, english is not my first language so I really don't know whether the thing on her side is a bandage, bandaid, a batch or something like that =) Don't know about the guy who invented collars, but we are not masochists of any kind 😁👌 Take care 👍

Oh god, I thought we had it expensive here in Finland 😵‍💫 The insurances that I looked at last summer did not look very great policy wise. If I remember right, the monthly payments were quite high and if something expensive happens, they cover like 50% of the costs. So, a genius that I am, I thought that it would be very unlikely for her to have something like this happen 😄 At this point, I would have taken the 50% of the costs quite happily 🤷‍♂️ She is supposed to make a full recovery after about 6 weeks, which is great. I will upload a video about todays surgery tomorrow. Everything went fine and she seems to be surprisingly okay now even that she still has a lot of sedatives and other meds in her system. Glad to hear that you have had a smoothie also, they are a lovely breed I think. Active, intelligent, social and so on. It seems expensive could be now added to that list. Thank you very much 👍 The doctor doing the surgery seemed very professional and we will be home taking care of the patient for the next three weeks so all things considered I am hopeful to see a soeedy recovery 👍

Oh that is a great story, thank you for sharing 👍 Our girl gets a little weird during her heat, but nothing like that though. What do you mean by "false heat"? I am just curious 😄 So she actually was not in heat but acted like it anyway? Isla has had some strange behaviour after her heat but luckily the animals (squirrels, bunnies and so on) nearby have not had to suffer from her antics so far 👌😄

The two times that I had seen them before in the same stadium, I was sitting a lot higher. So I was not that far from the stage this time as earlier. That could be one reason also. I remember the first time I went to the olympic stadium to see metallica, could have been around 2004 or something, the wind was playing with the sound a lot. This time it was very crisp and clear 👌
