This is a great question...no, the 30amp outlets are different so you would need to get the 30amp adapter. I think it's the NEMA 10-30 adapter. Usually most campgrounds have the 30amp outlets, only the newer campgrounds typically offer the 50amp. Hope this helps!

yeah for sure. I didn't have an air compressor to fill mine and drive it to the closest tire shop and didn't want to interrupt my work day to go through all of that hassle, so I was more than willing to pay for someone to handle it all for me. super convenient.

Wow that's amazing!! What states did you go to and how long did it take? I've been wanting to plan like a 3 week road trip around the western half of the US.

@@taylordencermedia I took two weeks of work. I started from Southern California and went up to Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, Nevada and back to cali. We tried to hit as many national parks as we could! :) our Tesla did amazing!

@@taylordencermedia yeah we did it within the two weeks. I had to get back to work. We didn’t feel rush but we did stop a lot because I had my wife and two kids lol. We were aiming to visit 11 national parks but we only did I think 8 national parks.

I think it all comes down to personal preference..a couple people have asked me the same thing, and for me personally I’m able to better gauge my calculations in miles because I can relate that to the distance I’m driving. Percentage feels a bit vague to me, especially as I get below 30% (which I’ve figured out that 30% is about 100mi of range remaining on the long range). But I try to include both miles and percentage in my videos in case people like to view it differently 😊

@@FriarHavs Tesla’s are heavier due to the battery. 42 is the recommended PSI for the model Y.

@@AdventuresInTheSky Exped actually just released a pump that now will also deflate. I plan to get it soon! The deflation process has always been a pain and I’m certain their new product eliminates that.
