The Secret Footballer - Dave Kitson? (Part2)
In his 11th May 2012 column in the Guardian, the TSF relates his experience of being relegated on the last day of the season, describing his regrets from one game:
"Moments stick in your mind, like the mistimed jump that I made that led to a headed clearance being volleyed in"
The above video is taken from the Fulham v Reading match in the 2007/2008 season (at the end of which Kitson's Reading were relegated on the last day). It shows Dave Kitson (no.12) heading a clearance which is volleyed in by Simon Davies.
Is Dave Kitson the secret footballer? The evidence mounts!

That's what I remember thinking as several fans helped me out of the stand and back on the pitch." Several commenters have mentioned Dave Kitson as a possible candidate. Yes, it's a great speech and very funny. In the years afterwards, his party and the men beside him wrecked our country. Not so funny now.

William Hague came too early. He would have made a far better Prime Minister than Cameron, May, Johnson, Truss and Sunak and I am a Labour member. He was Eurosceptic yes but in the early days of May post Brexit vote he advised pragmatism not daft dog whistle politics: a very shrewd guy.

Renegade Shep loves his M-6 Carnifex Hand Cannon All similes are based on personal thoughts ‘genius’ and this is an assertion because one thing true to one person may be not so to another. The fact that we’re having an argument over it proves that premise. But it wasn’t a simile anyway because it wasn’t of a different type category or kind as the the person he compared Hague to was within the confines of English writers the general subject of literature and vernacular.

Only nauseating thing about that, was the drivel from Hague. His own party is fighting for what he is mocking. Thankfully, a lot of Cons have seen the light. But it's hilarious how they mock the EU, but have changed their tune now the fight has come to staying in.

He is still to this day one of the last true Tory Eurosceptics as Thatcher in her day- Halt expansion, excercise the great influence of the UK within its precipes to move the conversation and balance of power to a stable and apt economic union instead of a political one by winning over smaller states to your side. They most all understand the de facto nature of which huge markets control one's economy by force instead of agreement without first having influence in it. However in a world hurdling towards "America First above all others, China First, Japan First, etc." policies of protectionism where free trade agreements newly formed are tailor-made by the bigger party for itself including America, its also been understood among them giving up all that influence and advantage on the world stage BY FUCKING LEAVING THE DARNED THING... IS MAJORLY FUCKING RETARDED! YOURE SIGNING YOURSELVES OVER FROM A COUNCIL YOU HOLD THE 2ND BIGGEST POWER IN STRAIGHT TO THE GLOBALIST ELITES OF WHICH YOU CAN NOT HOPE TO ASCERTAIN! COME ON!

Gwasgray I believe (but I could be wrong) the joke is that Gordon Brown, who had only recently become the Prime Minister after 10 years of Tony Blair's rule, was satirically about to lose his post to Blair as he was considering the post of President of the European Commission. In reality, a British EU president would be in an ideal position to influence British policy to the benefit of the UK but at a cost to the Prime Minister's influence. On a serious note, he's generally talking about the increase in power of the EU over individual countries, which the Conservatives are very cautious about.
