We should have one permanent language so that we will be united with language in international perspective. As you can see how indian army use hindi ,how indian sports team uses hindi . Hindi because its most used language in india . No hate to any other language.China have their own ,usa have their own,every country prefer one main language to communicate. My identity is just Indian that's it. I never go somewhere and call myself UPite or something i have seen people introducing themselves as either south indians. What one more thing that i notices is that These states like Karnataka and Tamil Nadu have their own Anthem and flag which they use more than Indian flag.

And yeah i have faced a lot of racism just bcz i can't speak kannada,tamil,etc. Which just ruins my normal day . Very recent lame example. Stalin opposed LIC company of having hindi as default language. Old example where kannadigas destroyed banners with hindi written. This what makes me angry about this tribal behaviour, bcz thats how these kind of people act. Exactly like tribals, they don't get along with outsiders.

Making Hindi as National language is imposition, but English no problem. What is this?? They can speak English proudly which is a foreign language but hindi being our one of the language which may have changed in speaking or writing but it still a swadeshi language not videshi.

The question was on hindi imposition and not the rights in government or question about funds. Karnataka and Telangana gets a healthy amount of funds man. You have no problem with English but a hell lot of problem with hindi. You will never call English an imposition. Its nothing but Linguistic politics whether its done by Karnataka, Tamil Nadu its a fact, Many working class people also get trapped in this thing and behaves racially with us. Gujarat has gujarati language, Kashmir has different language, Sikkim has different, etc. I have been there but they don't tell us to leave just bcz we don't speak their language.

hindi vs kannada is definitely linguistic politics and this was told to me by locals itself. Karnataka government trying to pass a bill which gives 70% reservation to locals for C and D class jobs is itself an example of the level of racism.

What is imposition?? I am from Uttar Pradesh living in Hyderabad but I don't know Telugu wholly, Even when I was in school My first language was Hindi and second language Telugu and i didn't want to learn Telugu.There was no option to change the second language, Isn't it imposition? No Native people of Telangana impose the language instead they happily try to make an effort to have a conversation even in Hindi ..I feel Hindi language as a Link language as Mukesh sir rightly said , suppose a kannada speaking labourer meets a Bengali speaking labourer then how would they communicate? In this case a link language can be anything mutually understandable..But Hindi is more Suitable and expected because even not the majority but most of the people know Hindi
