DEVELOPMENT OF REBEL GROUPS : @ TRIPURA NATIONAL VOLUNTEERS (TNV) EMERGED IN THE LATE 1970 TO PROTECT TRIBALS RIGHTS AND AUTONOMY AND BEGN ARMED AATACK ON SETTLERS AND SECURITY FORCES. @ NATIONAL LIBERATION FRONT OF TRIPURA IN 1989 @ ALL TRIPURA TIGER FIRCE IN 1990 3. PEAK OF VIOLENCE : THROUGHOUT THE 1990 TO EARLY 2000 , INSURGENT ACTIVITIES PEAKED WITH FREQUENT AMBUSHES ,BOMBING AND KIDNAPPING. TRIPURA EXPERIENCED WIDE SPREADS INSECURITY ESPECIALLY IN RURAL AREAS FALL OF INSURGENCY: 1. GOVERNMENT COUNTERMEASURES WITH THE HELP OF PARAMILITARY DORCES SUCH AS ASSAM RIFLES AND CENTRAL RESEARCH PROTECTION FORCE (CRPF) 2. CRACKING DOWN SAFE HEAVEN IN BANGLADESH WITH THE HELP OF SHEIKH HASINA GOVT . 3.
