People don’t like Malcolm but they like Satch? I don’t get it!

The sims community is the most toxic community I have ever experienced in gaming. I’ve been playing the Sims since the 90’s and to see who the people have become is truly disgusting. At this point the community doesn’t even honor freedom of speech…unless it is a lie that gasses up the trash Sims content we keep getting. At this point EA is becoming smaller and smaller of a villain in comparison to the sims community itself. To even spread hate or try to blacklist people for using their influence to spread the truth about a game AND truly inform simmers is WILD!

Whoa! Your channel has grown so much. I agree with you about these awards. I didn’t even know about them until after the nominations were posted! 😂 Either way I think it’s another way to start drama. Congrats on all of your success. 🎉

It’s always something happening in these sim streets 😂 Me personally I appreciate simmers that play the game and have fun, but I also know who to watch if I want an opinion or gossip. Just like I know who to watch for news and updates also. Life is too stressful to be adding more mess to it. Seems like egos are being bruised over this awards.

The Sims community is never happy.

I’m surprised people hate Pixelade because they think he’s too critical of Sims 4. He doesn’t come off that way to me, but maybe it’s because of when I watch his news videos to me he comes off as being more open to loving the game but will call out when it has its moments. Satch and Malcolm definitely may not be everyone’s cup of tea (I only watch Satch on occasion because while his critiques are very necessary, it does stress me out when I hear about the flaws and issues the game has when I just want to relax due to life in general), but their opinions are valid and shouldn’t put a target on their back. They should be allowed to not like the game, as people are also allowed to find enjoyment in it

This community just amplifies the main problems in society as a whole which is 1. Everyone must share and agree with my opinion or they r horrible ppl who just don't understand and 2. I would rather ignore all the problems and pretend everything is fine bc I'm use to it like this and change is scary. Society as a whole loves to tear each other apart bc there can only b one right answer and it has to b mine bc I say so. It also hates changing things bc we don't know how change might affect our lives, things might get better but the fear of something going horribly wrong keeps us in the environment we r already familiar with. As for the awards if nobody is getting anything out of it (trophy, prize money, plaque, etc.) And it's just for fun who really gives a crap. Whether u win or lose ur not gonna b any better or worse for either outcome, the way it looks it's basically a community appreciation day for ur favorite simmers.

Hahahahah! I remember that guy! He's the one that was caught getting paid to promote JTB! HE is putting down James Turner? Heck, I stopped watching James Turner because I thought he wasn't honest enough about the problems in the game and this guy is complaining that he is negative? Wow. Just wow. I find this so totally hilarious. Satch and NotMalcolm are pretty much the only ones I do watch now regularly, but I'm not part of the morass that is X, don't do tictok, don't do facebook, don't do any of that "social" stuff. I'd get slapped down figuratively on a daily basis. I've been playing The Sims games since TS1 came out. I was right there preordering EVERYTHING, I own the entire Sims 3 Store (though I do use the alternative version to help it run better, fewer files for it to process). I've played them all but for all the console versions. I say all that to say that I stopped buying sims 4 packs, all of them, and am boycotting it until the developer FIXES it, all of it, or they stop making it and modders do. I play mostly Sims 1 and 3 on twitch and people ask me all the time if I will play 4 and I say no and say why, then they tell me about the last time their game corrupted or crashed. The vast majority of the people in the "creator network" are dishonest about the game, yes including LilSimsie. They gloss over or edit their video so it doesn't show the problems, they'll say how wonderful content is then a few months later when a similar pack is released say "Lets be honest that pack wasn't good but this one does look good!" No, I've dropped them all in favor of ones that are more honest about the problems in the game and will continue my boycott until they FIX IT.

I'd never heard of this before but giving out awards to this skewered community is NOT a good idea. No way will it be impartial. And why is it separated by ethnicity, location and I don't know what else. I'm just going by what I saw on this screen, will have to look it up for more info. But, do believe it will only make this community even more divided.

They just can’t handle that malcom calls out the bs and has a different opinion it’s childish. Also nobody comes for LGR when he has opinions that malcom/satch agree with but nobody has anything to say about LGR !!! Keep the same energy. (I love LGR) his reviews are so refreshing I even rewatch them. Love LGR.

Now I'm going to have to check on the Sims awards. Hmmm...

What exactly does a UA-cam simmer streamer get for winning? I personally don't care about this awards event. It's all subjective anyway. FYI, James Tuner bashed "My First Pets Stuff" because of its connection to "Cats & Dogs" pack, which he didn't like. Pixilaide didn't like "Journey to Batuu" because of its marketing tie in to the "Star Wars" IP.

This Community has become so toxic tbh People dont accept your opinion even if you give it in a respectful way. You cant say the game is broken like shit because they go against you like animals. Thats why they hate Satch on Sims so much, but he is just not being blind. You can love a game, but recognize EA is not giving their best to bring you a good product. I love The Sims 4 but sometimes I feel like they are scamming people

Malcolm's criticism of Sims 4 in general is very tamed compared to the COD multiplayer voice chat.

Not Surprised with big Drama in the Sims 4 community. There are a lot of great Simmers out there but here in this list deserves a standing obviation awards 1.Satch on Sims 2. Lil Simise 3. Superior Simmer 4. Pixelade 5. Delgencary ( sorry if I misspelled your name ) Runner ups are NotMalcom, Plumbmeria and Maple Simmer. Disclaimer this list is my opinion, and thank you for the great memories.

The Wendy Williams award should be a write in category 😂 I get both sides and I do like most of the things Malcolm says. But it’s crazy the amount of hate and death threats people like him and Satch get from the positivity people.

Tbh, I didn't even know this was a thing and I don't know Malcolm but I watch people he mentioned. Like SatchOnSims, Pixelade and James Turner. It funny he mentions James Turner because his let's plays often get me playing the game after not playing it for a while. James has been posting a Sims 3 playthrough of World Adventures and it brought me back to playing Sims 3 and loving it again (it's so rich in gameplay I'm discovering new things now all the time, unlike in sims 4). So, basically, I get he is bummed he didn't get nominated but IDK why he is complaining so much about it, while saying he doesn't care. I agree, t's a weird thing to create drama over.

Malcom bothers me sometimes, but his points are valid. If you don't like his views, it's easy to just ignore him.

For male Sims my biggest issue is that there are not a lot of really good clothes for males except for preppy or boring males. There's not a lot of inner city or in style trendy clothes that are for males. They do that for women. There's lots of different styles for women but for men it's hard-pressed so. But I liked your tips and that's really good and it makes a lot of sense. My whole thing is just trying to make sure that when I'm making the a new Sim that I don't make the same person every time and I'm trying to break out of that by using different head shapes or whatever starting with that base and then trying to create an interesting looking person. So that's my whole deal. So that's why I clicked on here to watch and see what tips you had. Very good video!

Interesting that the guy talks about how creators that are so negative and his first example is JT.. the guy that really got me back into playing TS4 after decades of not playing..

My thoughts about the Simmer Awards? Its not official, so it doesn't really matter despite all the drama. Malcolm might be releasing a video about this fiasco. We'll shall see from his POV.

Malcom as a LOT of good points to be honest. Not about this awards thing, I don't know anything about that, but most of his videos have 1 thing or ten I can relate to. I don't care about discussions about this or that simmer, couldn't care less, but when it is about EA and the franchise itself he knows what he is saying. Also, this community surely needs simmers like him cause (most) of ya'll just keep pretending everything is roses and shove down stupid dlc down viewers throats. Also, Satch is King, too.
