Andy I had to give mine up over 10 years ago! I'm epileptic. My old doctor retired and it took the new one 4 years to even see me. Now in that time I'd not reported any fits to any doctor! I could have quite easily reapplied for my licence back as there was nothing on my records. It was through my own personal choice that I didn't. I wouldn't have been able to live with myself if I'd caused a crash or injured somebody. Sometimes it better being safe than sorry and do the right thing. It's hard when you lose it but,you'll feel better in yourself knowing you're doing the right thing by keeping yourself and others safe. If I report 1 fit,that's another 12 months before I can even think about getting my licence back,won't happen for me. Electric bikes are the future

My dad was diabetic. Blood tests and daily injections. But he was a heavy drinker, so it cut his life short. He didnt take care of himself. Hes been gone 40 years, before all this technology. Hope you find your way through this without much difficulty. Ok, with less difficulty.

I'm sorry you're going through all that, that is a bad deal. My brother in law uses that and his gives false readings as well. Hope you get everything worked out.

Quick dvla update and hard one to take after sending my driving license back for first time in 32 years. All I’ve got to say to the diabetics that use the libre 2 is don’t use it . False readings for a start and controls your life . Thanks for everyone’s support 👍
