DIY Slab using Dry Pour
Переглядів 657 місяців тому
I had to put down a slab for some sheds I’ll be installing on the side of my house. I’m using the dry pour method because I just need something simple. The ground was already graded and compacted so I just poured directly on top of the dirt. I also but some wire reinforcement. It ain’t perfect but it was good enough for what I needed and way cheaper. @CajunCountryLivin and @wabashkid for the in...

AR Maglock Gen 4 with Kingpin
Переглядів 50 тис.4 роки тому
How I made my AR15 compliant per California regulations using AR Maglock Gen4. I also replaced my rear takedown pin with the Kingpin which simplified the act of breaking open the rifle in order to release and load a new magazine.

Installing Wall Control Peg Board
Переглядів 2,3 тис.8 років тому
Bought some black metal Wall Control Peg Board to help organize my tools in my garage.
sheesh, props on building 3 of these
You make it look so easy. Mine will not turn at all.
@@Michael_78 try putting a little fun oil. If you can get it out I would sand the pin a little. It should turn easily. The difficult part is using your nail to turn it.
You're a life saver! Thank you
I'm thinking about getting one of these and de-registering my bullet button AR.
does the ditent pin and spring same size as the stock?
I was debating on getting a king pin because I was wondering how I would take it out so I can't clean my rifle. Turns out, the people who made this as clearly one step ahead of me. Nothing to worry about lol
Put the video at 1.25 speed and thank me later
Very misleading! I fiddled with the kingpin, it’s a shit waste of money. If you have several uppers to sight in, you are screwed. The kingpin mate the upper and it fixed. Just install the mag lock mag release and punch out the rear pin. Or if you want to fiddle with disassembling the entire kingpin and reassembling. To sight in a new upper. HARD PASS ON THE KINGPIN.
Hello Can the roof and windows be in the front or back of the shed? so the pitch could be in the front instead of the back?
no
Is the module still working
Thanks so much for this video.
Thank you for this. Do you know how to install the kit on an sig spear LT?
What if you pulled it without lining it up and the pin gets stuck?
Is this just as good as the new hyperswitch, your opinion?
nice work! question how thick is the concrete floor and is it holding up?
I like your original kit, just update some of the pieces and your set. I do similar things, but I use old camera bags and pouches and then modify them to work for my purpose. I also use pencil bags and utility bags.
very nice job...this guy has a wonderful idea with notched screed board ua-cam.com/video/-yvyol6vw7k/v-deo.htmlsi=iU06YGjC0xzWeqaQ
Is the part still working?
Vit be helpful to know what year you're working on. Is it the same location on a 2008 S-60?
Promo*SM 😉
Where did you get the Dewalt tool set from? What is the model number? I want that set.
Lol what a video. Thought I'd actually see your tool bag. Not 3 different socket sets... Lol
Now 3 years later does it work like it should???
hehehehe funny guy here ^
You can tune the AR Maglock to work regardless of how many rounds you've got through it. You just need to file it slightly so it fits between the upper and lower.
I will never understand why CA wants to make it so hard for us to defend ourselves
Remember, making a gun harder to control or use is for your own safety.
@@xxdinorabbitxxschannel5083 haha right
That’s what I did but I had to shave down my mag release lever to fit in between the crack and you gotta be carful not to shave to much off I hated that whole fixed mag lock I thought it was bullshit but after I did this I can keep my bolt catch I never removed junked the juggernaut bold replacement crap on the trash and just used the rear take down pin now my Mag drop like it ain’t no thing the upper pops in place on it’s own you don’t even notice it if you do this take your time measure the crack between the upper and lower the magpul mag release is to fat you gotta shave it down i and is to long so I had to shorten mine but I shortened it to much I had to use powder and super glue to extend it
Thank you sir !!!!! very useful !!!
Thanks for this video man. I’m a newbie with rifles & I just got my first AR15 with the juggernaut hellfire kit but I had it replaced with a king pin & AR maglock gen 4 today. Just wanted to ask if you have any issue removing the magazine with the bolt locked back. In the AR mag lock/king pin videos, it shows that the AR mag lock will work even if the bolt is locked to the rear. Mine works without a magazine but once a mag is inserted & the bolt is locked to the rear, the king pin will separate the upper & lower but the AR maglock will not release the magazine anymore. Someone told me it could be the magazine I’m using (hexmag & pmag). Just wanted to ask you if you ever had the same issue with this system. Thanks & God bless!
Thanks for this video!
Dude… you save me🙏🏻👊🏻
what manufacturer is the 2nd hand grip?
Thanks for posting! Got it done per your instructions. That stupid mounting screw took the longest time to be put back on.
Best instructional video I’ve seen on this type of project. I’m about to try and do this, this summer. Is there anything that you would do different please let me know
I would have been more strategic in nail placement. definitely didn't need as many nails as i put in. There's a method where you start in the middle and you use a star method as you work your way towards the edges spacing the nails out more and more than you secure the edges.
Great innovation. The fact that this needs to exist is ridiculous.
Your post had the best tool suggestion for the job. I purchased the ratchet driver and it made the job so easy. Thanks 😊
Thanks for the video. I have a similar issue with my 2012 xc60. Car started and ran fine, came back after several hours to find the battery dead but the primary radiator fan still running (not at full speed but perhaps thats due to the dead battery). Disconnected the fan, attached a jump starter. The car will accept the electrical signal for a few seconds (even start for a second), then it shuts off completely. Completely dead. Checked ECM for liquid or burn marks, its dry. Could it be a blown fuse or a bad short elsewhere?
Did you ever find out what the problem was? Exact same thing is happening to me currently
Do you need both ar Maglock release and the king pin combo or can I get away with just the kingpin?
You can use the maglock without the king pin but it is 1000% easier and faster to separate your upper from lower with kingpin.
Thanks, I actually want to do the opposite and only use the kingpin... Will that still work?
@@razelllamanzaresno it will not be compliant. You are eliminating the entire fixed mag part of the whole point behind the law.
How does yours spin around so easily? I need fuckin pliers to spin mine.
how do i know which gen to purchase for db15?
ua-cam.com/video/SBiofNYR9vs/v-deo.html That's why Hogue Freedom Fighter is better than Maglock. You can file down the Hogue pin to get that clearance with the bolt back.
Ok bro just cuz ur a Reno may fan don't me u need to do that with ur fingers like him 🤦🏽♂️
Thank you very helpful!
Thanks.. 5 minutes swap with a new 30€ unit from eBay and my V70 is no longer draining the battery overnight with the fan always on… Thanks for the ratchet tip it saved me 5 minutes to figure it out 😂👍
Thanks same deal here.
Thank you, very detailed.
I need help my detent fell off how do I put it back in !?
Did you lose your detent?
I went to Amazon and did not find the module listed? What did I do wrong?
Radiator Cooling Fan Control... www.amazon.com/dp/B07Q5NSR9F?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Sorry. Looks like they don’t carry it anymore
Not really sure about this but I'm pretty sure you have to put it on "fire" before you can pew-pew away
Illegal! Mag isn’t legally pinned at all! You go to jail!
Did you have to cut the zip ties to get in there? I bought a controller from Rock Auto. It looks like Amazon isn't carrying the one you bought, and apparently there were a lot of failures from the comments I see here. There is one for $247 from Amazon. I paid much less from Rock Auto, but way more that $30. And naturally this had to happen in Phoenix in August. Ugh.
How long did it take for you to be able to use the kingpin with the bolt in the back position
