If CMB aint on here, then its null ans void
I’m surprised James Barlowe doesn’t talk about Hunter Salis.
Merry Christmas to yall
I love the Christmas sweater there Krysten!!!
Just a few names id have in mind if yall do a part 2: yaxel lendeborg, chaz lanier, walter clayton jr and max shulga.
Nate Ament Is Going On A Duke Visit Soon And Has Been There A Few Times Literally Everyone is saying he is a Duke Lean
Cam Boozer does not have the speed, agility or athleticism to be the number one pick.
I’m sure they said the same about Jokic
@ I don’t see it
Cam Boozer over AJ??? You don’t really believe that Stayman.
Statements like that make you lose credibility.
He’s clearly infatuated with Cameron boozers current success. That’s the only argument u can really make, that Cameron boozer was clearly the better highschool player. Ajs potential is just so much higher
@@ginajyneen8868 He’s rage baiting
@5stariley He’s not the better High School player though, AJ had been playing in the NIBC for years before he transferred to Utah Prep. He’s played against way better competition.
@@mikejones9906 Columbus has been playing a national schedule as well. When they had equal teams last year columbus won both times. An in the eybl circuit cameron boozer has made his case to be the best to ever do it on the circuit winning 3 straight peach jams. I understand aj having the higher potential (and being the number 1 pick in a hypothetical draft), but cameron boozer has been one of the best highschool players EVER. All he needs to really put himself in that top 5 ever debate is a national championship this year.
Gotta look out for BaBa Oladuton
Gotta love Stayman's incites...
I like the idea of Dink Pate in the lottery. I don't understand why he hasn't gotten more of that hype before now, given his age, physical profile and level of competition. As a Raptors fan, I've been thinking that if the Raptors fall outside of the top 5, I think he's as viable a prospect as anyone in the top 10.
You guys dont watch Toronto at all. Barnes was starting at Center as a rookie but he played every position. He was PG in college and is a PG right now for Toronto since IQ has been hurt all year. He's not a 4 with a handle. Thats like the American media's perspective on him. He's an actual big PG he runs the offense, makes fullcourt passes, no look passes and everything. Flagg is not anything like Barnes. Theres also alot of things Flagg does as a big that you wont see Barnes doing, like his 2nd leap explosion, or abillity to contest shots through contact, finishing at the rim and finesse/touch at the rim, footwork and body control.
Cooper Flag is barely 18
Great job guys!!
Daniel Batcho Louisiane Tech 🎉
kudos!
What about Mikey Williams? He is back playing basketball for UCF. Can you do a report on him?
@@WillHarp-q3v no.
He's gotten a whopping 3 minutes so far, not much to talk about yet...
Do they actually talk about Emoni, or is he just in the rundown and they mention his name once and thats it?
You gotta listen and find out…
Flagg is good and going to be a good solid player. But I don't see him being a superstar.Isaiah not playing more minute is sad.Im sure the coach didn't tell him was going to be in this situation when sign him.Coach k would have never did this.On every other team he would either start and get major playing time.He going to either go to the draft or transfer.
All of this is wrong.
ALL IS RIGHT I KNOW HIM PERSONALLY!!! AND HE IS NOT HAPPY
@@DukeAgenda what wrong with it
Ian got passing ability. The coach isn't putting him in position to show his passing ability. And I think the reason he look to score.Because he think the coach is going to take him out the game. And I think you not going to see the best of Elliot until Rj leaves
But Elliot can’t shoot. Plus he’s turning the ball over at a high rate.
I think you also have to consider that Maluach is being overshadowed by Cooper Flagg and Kon Knueppel although the pick and roll between Kon and Maluach has been more present lately. I've been a firm believer that Duke's "offensive issues" are largely linked to the fact that they haven't run much pick and roll. They finally did it quite a bit against GT and I hope it continues. It's basically free points because he'll score OR he'll get fouled and Maluach hits his free throws. A rarity for big men at his age. I hope he comes back for a sophomore year and then goes pro but if he goes pro, the upside is insane. He's a fringe lottery pick in my opinion.
Flagg - Grant Hill. Functional athleticism is nearly identical, but Hill was more explosive vertically. Same floor game. Flagg better defender at same stage (and I mean their draft year not when Hill was a freshman.) Kneupple - Bogdan Bogdanovic. Above average shooter (not quite elite). Solid passer. Kon will be a better rebounder and defender. Maluach - Myles Turner. Not quite the athlete, but much longer (standing reach difference is about 5 inches). Will be a better shooter than Turner, I believe Evans - Duncan Robinson. Evans is a better athlete, but his ability to always catch on balance and ready to fire is all Robinson.
Flagg 'functional athleticism'? Hes one of the best athletes in the country😂😂
@@AImusicforus919his game is more similar to Tatum than hill.
@@RafiqWashington-tx7id Absolutely not. He can't shoot from 3, same as Hill. More comfortable i the midrange.
@@AImusicforus919 We're not disagreeing. Functional athleticism is a good thing.
@DukeAgenda When Tatum was at Duke as a freshman he couldn't shoot the 3 either. Hill could shoot but college and the NBA weren't as concerned about the 3 point shot as they are today.
CAPTAIN JACK IF HE KEEPS THIS SCORING BARRAGE UP I THINK HE CAN WIN ACC PLAYER OF THE YEAR
CAPTAIN JACK IS THE BEST 3 LEVEL SCORER IN THIS DRAFT CLASS ✔️✔️
I have a top 11, not really a top 10... and Dink Pate is right in that mix... could be a good pickup for someone.
You have to take Isaiah Evans top 10, he’s the best shooter in the country at 6’8. The jumper looks picture perfect.
Evans is probably about 6'5 and cant defend, theres a reason he doesnt get much tick with Duke
I watched him all through highschool and the first thing that comes to my mind is would he be able to defend at the college level that would depend on his playing time
@@AImusicforus919exactly
@@AImusicforus919 he doesn't get time because scheyer doesn't know what he's doing. There is a reason the whole team transfer's at the end of the year
@@AImusicforus9196’5?? What’s the reason?
Dink is legit, straight man-child.
Not only is Ian Jackson a top 10 pick, he could go top 5. There are a lot more 20 point games coming.
Ian is the real deal.Drake has not shown enough yet.
I was screaming that about Isaiah Evans when I heard where he was going!🤦🏾♂️
Isaiah Evans is a top 10 pick.
Krysten Peek, you need to tell Bleacher Report to give Rafael a big contract.
She’s not with Bleacher Report.. She’s with us now
Rafael, how you feeling about Tahad Pettiford and CJ Cox?
Ace and Dylan couldn't even beat Princeton, man. The hype has been OD.
I bet most that hype up Ace Bailey and/or Dylan Harper won't say much about their poor shooting night yet again. The problem with Rutgers is that H.O.R.S.E. doesn't always work, especially if your best players have gone cold. But... it's funny the same people that will stick up for Dylan or Ace will diss Flagg as a prospect altogether as if he'll never be able to shoot or be the legit #1 pick. At least Flagg finds ways to win better opponents. He fools around and practices against sorry teams and goes for the jugular when it counts... I'd take a winner over a loser any day.
Cooper Flagg needs 20 shots to score 20 points and you want to talk about Bailey and Harper?? Rutgers is playing a brutal schedule.
@@mikejones9906 Oh, my bad, you right. Duke hasn't played anyone.
@@DukeAgenda They play no ranked teams in their conference schedule.
@@mikejones9906 conference play just started. one game.
Thank you so much for doing this video! There is nothing I hate seeing more than a young talented athlete being buried on a teams bench because the coach wasn’t able to maximize their potential. Now, in the time of NIL, there is an opportunity for players to not have to sacrifice fit for greater economic opportunity. I still believe Khaman Maluach would have been far better served going to someplace like UCF that has been able to develop centers in recent history, like Taco Fall, rather than duke university, who seems to only highlight polished, athletic frontcourt players.
Buy better players
Like 3|4 million isn’t crazy as well 😂
😂
Great episode
He was bound to be great, he was a 9th grader and was giving seniors the business!
Cream always rises to the top. A player can be just as exposed at a non blue blood if theyre not good enough. Im a believer that iron sharpens iron. Id go where the best talent, coaching and competition is in a system that best fits me. "Fit" is more than "give me the ball."
@@melomanace3415 we gave examples on both sides. I do believe cream rises to the top, but I also believe a guy like Ian Jackson is being held back because North Carolina is loyal to Elliot Cadeau. If Jackson swapped places with Jeremiah Fears I think he’d be talked about more and Fears would be coming off the bench. Fears team is undefeated and Jackson is coming off the bench for a 6-5 team. Is OU that more talented than UNC?? Or is it a coaching issue? If it’s coaching then, that can prevent the cream from rising.
@@LockedOnNBABigBoardPerfect timing, big game for Captain Jack, I have him in my top 10.
Many people think social media harms sports, but this is the perfect era for high school players to market their game and build a following so that they wont be reliant on a school’s NIL fund when choosing a school. Guys like Eli Ellis from OTE, for example, are getting money regardless of where they go because their brand is so strong.
Off topic but it's Cooper Flagg's birthday today!!! He's now 18!!! No more he's 17 in the narrative...
About time! He was 17 for 2 years 😂😂😂😂
@@LockedOnNBABigBoard I would like to see you invite Mikey V sometime again, and even better on an episode with Krysten Peek sometime since they're both studying the art of young hoopers...
I'd like to see Georgetown make a program comeback with some high recruits.
Same!
Loved all of this. Wish you two had fit in Tyran Stokes & Alijah Arenas reclassifying. Both should be top 5 picks, Tyran in the #1 pick conversation.
JOLIET!!!! Real bucket
Vol. 11?
If raptors get pick 3 or lower I want Fears. If he’s gone, Maluach.
How does he look on the defensive end?
That's just a complexion comparison 😂 jk I just like using the phrase
I had a reason fox comparison too. You arent the only one
Interested to hear your thoughts on Andrej Stojakovic. And can Isaiah Evans play his way into first round if given opportunity?
