Nope just standard 90cc. I find that a decent 90 is as good as a 110

@keenauto88 I was only made out of steel tube stock I salvaged from something and fixed to the engine at the front using the long bolts that held the fairing. I think I used the footpeg fixings at the rear, can't quite remember. It had one "cross member" of tube, the ends were all flattened and drilled for fixing. I'd smashed the exhaust so I hoped this would save the new one from the same fate-we used to go off-road on these bikes for fun. SPG632F, a clapped out gift from my brother but it was a LOT of fun.

Hello, The grits that are used are covered in the video. I only used what I had in stock at home so if you planned to do this working your grits up from corse to super fine 1000+ will give you better results without the big jumps in between like I did in the video

Cheers mate! Yeah there is one, that’s what I described as a whistle noise in the video. I think it’s the seal around the end pipe where I drilled it out so I would need to seal. Either that or one of the weep holes on it. And if it wasn’t that, probably the engine ha!

The bash plate is a just a cheapo pit bike one off eBay 👍😎

They are some RFY Chinese ones, they came on the bike when I bought it but actually aren’t a bad shock

Great job on the exhaust. Where did you get the bash guard?

@@that_bald_bloke cheers dude. The bash guard is a cheap pit bike one. I did do a video of fitting it but I never uploaded! Pretty easy to fit, You need longer m8 bolts for the footpegs and need to make some clearances for the exhaust. I shaped the front a bit more to suit the engine shape as they come very flat. Hope this helps 👍

Hello, sounds awesome 👍 this is a mates bike but I believe it’s running an air filter with a weather guard on it instead of an air box but it’s all tucked away to look original. Hope That helps, good luck with yours!

@keenauto88 You are right. When I was young, I wanted a Japanese bike, but now i am an owner of a 2 stroke russian bike, called ИЖ 350. It's a 37 y.o. bike and I love it.

The bike was fully gone through prior to my mate picking it up, the flatslide gives a nice power curve and the bike will go 60mph or thereabouts 👍 we were cruising most the day at 45mph

GT550 & GT750 were a mid-late 80s bike. Top 3 bikes in London were CX500, VT500 & GT550. I had a silver GT750, good range as a huge fuel tank on the other hand a bit top-heavy when full.

@@RustyTriumphs it’s quite a short straight system on it and it has a unique flat oval section that my mate made to clear the floor. That might give it more rasp haha!
