Layframe Softail Vicla Build | I’m Starting All Over Again | Back To The Drawing Board !
Talk about starting from square 1. That’s exactly what happened here, I should’ve been more than halfway done with this build by now. Then I got another one of those visions, how about building the 1st layframe softail vicla in Chicago, possibly all of Illinois. So here we are, having to tear everything back down again and starting all over. When it’s all said and done, this will be one of the hottest Viclas coming out of ChiTown.

With the fender stretched, it’s a must to layout the rear when you show up to that cruise spot, bar, show, grocery store etc…. No better way to do that than using air ride. The time has come to finally get the rear fender on the Vicla. Stretched just right to give it that low sleek look from the rear I was going for. Matching Harley black with pinstriping, to accommodate the tank and front fender. Makes it look like it came out of the factory like that. Hey Bro, great video I just subscribed to your channel. I'm trying to figure out the same issue on my 80 Impala, however my gauge reads full instead of empty. I mean the marker is way past the letter F. My dream car is the six-deuce.

From NC. Have a Trike and a 2003 lowrider softail. Next will be a Road King Cholo. I would use some rubber stops on the front, that hard sound when the forks stop gets me. Love your work and A+ Videos.

what did you do to the forks to get more ride height?
Changed up the internals, combo of modified dampers, springs, spacers etc...All legit, no sketch stuff. Took it apart a good amount of times until I had it just like I wanted.

@@DanielSanchez-jd4mq I don’t use them on these older softails. Best to measure your clearances first if you do use them.
Where did you get those brass fender strut bolts. They are cool.

Better late then never lol.. They are Chikla pipes, from Steady Custom Cycles . The ones on this bike are 37" , using Samson head pipes.
Compa I have a 1997 softail I got 21” front rim and 18 rear rim wat tire side should I do so everything fits good
I went 120/70/21 for the front and 150/70/18 for the rear
I thought you were gonna show the function of the kickstand. Putting the stand down and airing up the bike to spring up. Maybe another video

@@paulburge-ls6eb one of my friends stretched the original fenders at his shop. I just told him what length I wanted and he did rest. He’ll finish them up once I’m satisfied with the look .
