Hello George, after watching your great video, I would like to ask you this: what is the reason of working in the Sat channel on both HSV and HSL? Also why are you tweaking only the green channel in color wheels? Also should be better to create a custom selection for the High lights/Low light luminance selection? Otherwise we will need an alpha matte in each shot. Thanks in advance.

I don't get 6:07 where you set the CST to rec709 as you are working in a Davinci Wide Gamut Workspace? Shouldn't the input color space and gama reflect DWG?

I just recently purchased and learning how to edit with Resolve. Also, I’m yet to record footage using a log profile. As of now all of my recorded footage has been with the iPhone 16 Pro Max native camera app. Is it possible to get a quality color grade using that footage, or does it have to be footage recorded in a log profile?

Hello! Out of curiosity, is it not standard practise to work on the skin tones as well? I am relatively new to color grading, and in my understanding the skin tones here might be a bit off. Or is there also the creative choice to let your skin tones be guided by your LUT? Fantastic tutorial by the way!!

I've been using resolve since v9 and didn't know you could use the qualifier to make anchor points on the custom curves. I'm going to have to book a lesson with you in the new year!

My biggest issue with this is only just finding your channel now. You blow every other colour grading channel out of the water. Thank you.
