The concept for wireless digital cellphones were made by the Europeans. They reserved the 900mhz band as early as the 70's. Jesse chipped in that's all
Could you please suggest the best no code option to build a marketplace web application?
Also important to not give up You will fail many times in the beginning But it's worth it 🎉
Loved your confidence
No code approach is best way to become a good and real dev... These youtubers wont teach you and lead you nowhere... Stop watching these wasted blahblahblah... Start no code first then see what happens behind.. ...
Computer, help me with a script to ask this lady out.
Awesome video! Well done Sophy! ❤❤❤
So just curious if I were to take some of these free courses through this Go to other colleges/universities could I use this as credits?

Hello Sophy, r u aware what ur name is derived from ? ua-cam.com/video/bBMhYH4jwPI/v-deo.html

Now What U Wanna Do Is Turn Off The Lights & Then Try to Not Think & Not Fall Asleep
Really informative content. Also, what is the name of the background song that you used - very nice beat too
😂
Hey Sophy Loved your content Btw are you looking for video editor?
The thing that would scare me about building a SAAS in a no-code tool is that one day an existing client/stakeholder/investor will come to you and ask for a small feature and you'll have to tell him "youll have to wait 6-12 months while we hire a team of developers and rewrite this thing from scratch" . It might be okay for a proof of concept or an MVP, but I think your goal should be to move off of it as quickly as possible. The reason it's so good for internal tools is that these usually have a very well defined and small scope. Real SAAS products usually don't have this luxury.
The thing is, u cant build something very complicated like a multi threaded real time simulation of the solar system or anything that differes from simple use cases
And you shouldn’t. That’s not what no code was made for. It’s important to also realize, not everyone is trying to build something that complicated, they may just be needing a CRM, internal business tool, or MVP/POC etc
Shit, it's the chair😁
its early stages, but id still be concerned. LLMs can do thousands of hours of work in an instant. id be more concerned with LLMs with high MMLU benchmarks
VIDEO critique: "idk why bu the sound it make when you change from face to image/video is annoying" and also assume you watching cause you could totaly watch this has audio only" <3
Expecting exceptional quality from a no-code app is the equivalent of expecting to get a fancy four-course meal out of a TV Dinner.
It all comes down to complexity to be honest. You can build fairly simple stuff with no code platforms. Those web apps are probably so simple, most software devs don’t want to be bothered building them. I’ll give you an example. Build a platform to play chess with players online with a no code system. You can’t even start reasoning about how to go around doing it that way.
I've had at least 10 or 12 clients come to me till now asking to "add this small functionality" to their no-code apps..... And sadly the answer is always the same: we'll have to teardown the whole app and rewrite it from scratch. Most of these no-code apps are NOT developer-friendly, by design they're built not to be extended on so that you're stuck using their platform. The best (and probably the only) use case I've seen so far is for business intelligence dashboards
I’ve mainly seen no code be useful for internal business tools, small businesses and also for POCs/MVPs. I’m usually pretty upfront with clients on limitations of the given platform, and if it doesn’t suit their use case we just explore alternative options
So we gonna ignore AI and natural language programming, and hope AI will never be as advanced as what just about ever tech ceo inloved in AI claim they are working towards.
I've been in software development for the past 12 years so let me answer that..... No. we've been experimenting with code generation AI tools like GitHub copilot and Claude and they NEVER give a consistent answer, this seems like a built in feature for LLM. we have noticed significant lag and overall unmaintainable from these tools. The place I work for now had to put a ban on AI tools altogether because of this problem
Hi Sophy, thanks for this great video! What would you recommend for a quiz app, that would have atleast 100-200 multiple choice questions? Then maybe graphing the results?
Hi! If you’re looking for something quick and easy I’d suggest Glide, if you have some more time, Adalo
I will give you guys a tip instead, just learn python. Super easy to learn (it was developed to learn kids to code... ok?) and way more flexible and no license costs.
@@codebysophy its way easier to learn Python. My son and his classmates learned it at school in 7th grade. Way harder to learn no code especially when you need to come up with solutions to all limitations with no code. Th few times I have tried to use low code it makes C++ feel easy :)
I guess we will have to agree to disagree! Learning Python, and building a production ready application in Python are much different things (at this point it’s beyond just Python, you have to involve databases, frameworks, UI strategy etc.) - no code streamlines that process for many, though I agree with you on the fact that there is still a learning curve to no code platforms (idk if it’s comparable to C++ though haha)
@AndrewTSq coding is probably 20-30% of the whole effort, and like she mentioned most of the effort goes into other architecture choices : what kind of transport (HTTP, AMQP, WebSockets, what kind of a database, how will the data be indexed, what kind of security, how are we going to add tracing at every step, what compliance laws do we have to follow... Etc. Even a 4yr CS degree won't actually teach you all those concepts
@@yashghatti I would not look at what a CS Degree can or cannot do as proof. Most of them hardly know Java after their degrees. Anyway, yes let agree to disagree. :)
Great to see a video finally made about this. You are right, it is a trap. You get locked into some "tailored platform" as your savior till you realize that it lacks the essential functionalities of the things you actually want from a platform, in which case you'd be far better off hiring someone to do your entire project from scratch.
It’s only a trap if you allow it to be, like I mentioned in the video. It depends on what your use case is because no code is a great solution for a lot of use cases and has seen a vast amount of success. It’s important to do your homework before committing to a platform similar to how you would do so before committing to a tech stack with traditional development. Also realize due to lack of resources no code may be the ONLY option for a lot of people to turn their ideas into reality.
Of course it is. Of course it is. Hard coding is the only way to go.
why tho?
Let’s talk about it 😂
amazing video and analysis
Much appreciated!
great video! can't wait for more
Thanks!
I just got my Bachelor's in I.T. in software development/computer science. What cert do you recommend first? I was thinking Networking, Security+, or etc just to get in the door. I don't want to code
Have you thought about business Intelligence and Microsoft Fabric. A little coding is usefull but its about business, process, analytics and most Can be done with saas tools. Not easy though
Hi Sophy how i can build app exe for pc that people can download like rayzer cortex
bruh i think u forgor something
Great content! Very insightful and fluid! Would love your analysis/comparison of Softr too! Also, AI integrations?
What is your experience with Appy Pie and do you recommend it?
Can i work for you
Courses like this are nice as a supplementary resource
Hi sophy great content. I'm a new subscriber and honestly i found your video so helpful. I now believe Adalo is the way to build my first app. I know you offered to help, can i take you up on that offer? If your happy to connect through LinkedIn please let me know. Again thank you for the right content at the right time.
Great video Sophy! One question: Im building a flexible work platform, where companies can public specific date needs of workers, and workers can apply directly. We would need 2000+ active users, integration with Airtable (ideally low latency), publish in app stores and web, and hopefully very easy to learn how to use it. Based on your experience, which one would you choose?
I would check out Adalo it has integration with Airtable, and lets you deploy to app stores and web easily
