Hello everyone 😊, today I want to share my all time favorite dish since my childhood. Mt mom used to make this a lot when I was a child in Hong Kong. This dish is called Steamed Pork Jowls with Shrimp Paste蝦醬蒸豬頸肉 whenever my mom made it, I will eat 2 big bowls of rice 😆 because it’s so tasty from the flavor of the shrimp paste🤤 I use pork jowls instead of pork belly because Pork jowl meat is very juicy and it has an unique chewy texture that is also different from regular pork belly😁I hope you guys will enjoy my recipe 😋
Ingredient
Pork jowls 1 lb
1 tsp soy sauce
1 Tbsp sugar
¼ tsp white pepper powder
Shredded ginger 15g
Shrimp paste 1 Tbsp
Rice wine 1 Tbsp
Cornstarch 1 Tbsp
1 Tbsp of oil
