Jade is the personification of temptation… obviously with the whole snake and the garden of Eden imagery… but throughout the trailer there were the eight deadly thoughts/seven deadly sins that were written in Latin which shows for a few frames such as superbia which translates to pride and invidia which translates to envy… Even her character being made so overtly attractive mimics this character being all about temptation… which is even talked about in Proverbs with a dangerous woman who uses temptation to draw people into sin. the biblical references are there as shown by a guy getting crucified and covered in thorns but this is definitely the reason they paired her with Sunday at the end of the quest, Sunday even has a crown of thorns since thorns cover his halo. Now it’s time for my pretty long lore rambling: But something more interesting I find is her relation to Ouroboros, the Aeon of Voracity, throughout the trailer there are Ouroboros symbols making an infinity… the Aeon even mimics the same design as Jade, with the Aeon being a leviathan that has an insatiable huger that can never be satisfied even the design itself has an attractive woman using as a lure like an angler fish would much like Jade… Ouroboros is a leviathan which is a creature which originating from the bible which also explains Jade’s serpent motif this is why I think the stone hearts are closer to following other paths but for some reason choose preservation and diamond chose them… even Aventurine was stated to be closer to Elation, having pretty much nothing in common with the preservation… Ena the Order clearly took inspiration from God having Sunday as the angelic character that follows the path, where Ouroboros has a character acting like the devil… if Sunday was the one that noticed the inherent weaknesses in humanity and saw these physical weaknesses as the cause of spiritual suffering of the weak and wishes to unroot them, then Jade is the one that notices them and exploits the weak in times of desperation for her own desire I may also have to re-check the lore, but the leviathans in the hsr universe were the first creatures and when most of them died during the Dusk Wars their cells became creatures such as the Heliobi and Wubaboo, even their corpses used to create more anti matter legion… nearing the end of the Dusk Wars, Qlipoth the preservation ascended to Aeonhood… Sunday also said when speaking of the first day he said “After the Dusk Wars, darkness veiled the sky, and chaos consumed the Earth” “Ena the Order emerged, destined to restore all existence” “that marked the first day” obviously referring to the “let there be light” since Ena restored light to the dark… but what’s interesting is, these leviathans wish to bring void to the universe by eating everything it holds. This is said as “The drinker of worlds, the unsatisfied devourer, the black hole with thought. THEY are an Aeon and a Leviathan at the same time. In the eyes of Ouroboros, life is a flickering fragment floating in the sea of void, destined to return to the darkness along with the stars which birthed THEM - This darkness is within the depths of THEIR mouths”… so Ouroboros wishes to bring darkness to the universe opposed to Ena who brought it into light What’s also interesting is how interconnected the Voracity, Order, and Preservation are… Qlipoth is working tirelessly to stop the Leviathans, these creatures the entire reason why Qlipoth is constructing massive walls to preserve the universe… Ena and Qlipoth also swore the work together in the swarm disaster however Ena wasn’t able to fulfill a deal due to getting assimilated by Xipe… and the Voracity hates Qlipoth because Qlipoth is the Aeon directly trying to stop it, all of Qlipoth’s work is just to halt this species from devouring everything. This was even brought up in the negotiations with Old Oti who questioned on why the IPC wanted to work with the family for the Harmony even though Qlipoth and Ena worked together…
