It was definitely overkill for the gravel bike, but I'm an editor at Freerider.ro Cycling and Outdoor Magazine and I was testing how far you can push that specific gravel bike. A full-sus mtb is the way to go for this trail. Bar tape, nothing special, some no-name from Aliexpress 😄

With what i have (27.5x1.95), tires are 49 mm wide on 650b rims. With that, i get less than 5 mm of rear frame clearance on either side. So far it has proven to be enough, even on pretty muddy trails.

Yes, they didn't work properly but they were the only parts I had at a time when there were no parts in shops. Nevertheless, I had a working bike. Now I've upgraded it with a full Apex 1 grouoset.
