Aurora Borealis the Northern Lights in Levi Lapland Finland

Despite the fact that when you are north of the Arctic Circle in winter you are in Aurora Borealis country, there are chances that you might not see it. You have to be at the right time in the right place because there is a minimum and a maximum for the Aurora. You might barely see it in the distance or, if you are lucky, directly above your head. Of course, the sykes have to be clear of clouds. And all these conditions don't always add up.The Northern Lights do move but usually very slow and you don't actually realise it. Occasionally it moves fast, like a cloud in the wind, solar wind. This video is a timelapse.It's a great experience to have!
