Winter Gravel Riding in Vlăsiei Forests

Codrii Vlasiei (Vlasiei forests) was a vast region în south Romania, including the territory occupied now by Bucharest, the capital, covered în massive forests. Codrii Vlasiei were starting from Slanic town, Prahova county în the north and lasted till they met Neajlov river, în Giurgiu county. Today these majestic forests are just a shadow of what they were, due to massive deforestation. Still, the trails are great, and you can really push yourself training on a gravel bike or just trail running.
