@@ONLY1JAYJAY MK9: Rain was DLC. Skarlet is first introduced as DLC in that game. Tanya was left out. MKX: Mileena was killed but playable. Rain was an NPC but part of the MKX comics. Skarlet Jade was left out. MK11: had about everybody except Tanya. Rain was DLC again. I think Jade is going to be a kameo fighter, she's not popular enough to be in the game or fit in the story. But, I could also be wrong, but she's not as popular as Kitana and Mileena.
Tanya is one of the most overrated and obnoxious characters to face in mkx. Jade and Sindel were literal cancer in mk11. Hopefully mk1 will negate a lot of that cancer from previous games, but I don’t understand the obsession with all the female characters being in this game. So many iconic male characters will miss out including Fujin, noob, Nightwolf, cyrax, and Sektor, but we’re about to riot if one female edenian isn’t in the game. Plus I’d rather see Sareena that most of the female characters.
With the recent Lin Kuei trailer confirming Smoke and Rain and Umgadi trailer confirming Li Mei, Baraka, and Tanya. I feel like this leaked roster is likely gonna turn out to be true Onaga is definitely one of the ? base roster characters, since he has been teased and leaked. As for the other, could be either Jade, Sareena or a new character
I think you’re on the right path. However, the one character that I’m pretty sure won’t be on the list is Jade. I feel, and this is my opinion, if Jade were in the game as a playable character, she would have been revealed in the Umgadi trailer, with the rest of those that are sworn to protect Mileena and Kitana. But I think Sareena still has a very high chance.

Perhaps the new enemy is another variation of onaga? In the old timeline, he used reptile's body. Maybe in this new era, he takes on the body of a hero instead.

@JackyLegz What do you think of Sektor and Cyrax? They look dope, tgeir old classic costume looks even better with the graphics now. Their past costumes, they didn't look exactly like should. But I must say. They look exactly alike as the old ones, they did good on this MK game.
I like the direction NRS is going with Kameos… making them all classic characters… I just hope that a fan favorite character doesn’t miss the main roster only to be a Kameo. And yes I do like the skins for every character that I’ve seen so far… except for Smoke. Not a fan of his hair or mask. But I’m sure it can be customized.

I think most would want the old classic looks, because most people, want to see how it would look with better graphics now. But Smoke looks just like Smoke from MK9, except his hair was a lil longer in MK9. But I definitely would like to see him in a fully covered mask, looking smoked out in the face. I'm sure that's what you're wanting?..
I had this same concern. But apparently Geras IS pretty much immortal. And one key feature in his bio, is that he has survived through multiple timelines and multiple different variations of a single timeline. Building, Learning, and Using the knowledge through the timelines. Pretty crazy and badass that he would find his way back to Liu Kang in whatever timeline he tries to create.

Only two characters missing from that roster is Cyrax and Sektor. It has to be them!
