@@zainafzal2234 grooved will always make a noise over standard discs, drilled won’t tend to make any more noise than standard (the likes of Mercedes use OEM drilled discs). Usually that sort of noise is originating from the pad material rather than the disc 👍🏼

@@JapioooGames most mirrors have a mechanism that allows for mirrors to be pushed either way independent of the motor :)

@@JLMTAuto alright but do you really need to fold the mirror that way? its makes it easier but its also possible to just do it without the folding right? i have already the kit in my house :D

What I can’t get my head around is that it moves and then without changing anything I could push and pulling as hard as I wanted and it refused to move!

@@Pedro90000 manual, handbrake was fully on. I was pushing and pulling as hard as I could and it refused to move!

@ it’s difficult to see but the car is still on a down hill section, so all I’m doing is adding more load to the handbrake than it’s already holding.

@@tejzino1598 I liked the aesthetic of a drilled disc but wanted to avoid any potential risk of cracking if I took the S5 to a track day.

If you consider the price of a new head unit and the effort to replace some of these newer systems that are full integrated then $167 is pretty inexpensive!

@@israelgabay792 I unfortunately haven’t driven the new kodiaq yet, but they are on the same platform with I expect the same suspension setup. Between the kodiaq & allspace it boils down the spec, brand & design preference. If you want comfort make sure you go for the smaller wheels

@@kashifhussnain7456 drilled won’t make any noticeable noise over factory and in fact some cars come from the factory with drilled discs! Grovved you will be able to hear a difference

@@joshwalton5203 mine seems to stay in place, couple of options though. 1 option - cut 2mm in to the hanger about 15mm in from the end, heat up and bend 2nd option is to use a small jubilee on the end to stop the rubber slipping off (bit of a bodge but it should work!)

@@JLMTAutothank you for the help I will try that today the original boxes have a bevelled end to stop it sliding back off the rubber but my delete kit is perfectly round and keeps slipping out

Have these on mine, they drone in the cabin in lower rpm’s. Do you experience the same ?

@ I haven’t noticed mate I only use the S5 as a weekend toy really but all my cars have been stupidly loud I had a Ford focus st 5 cylinder that was straight piped that was the loudest car I’ve ever had so the s5 I think is quiet with only the back box delete maybe looked in to a valved exhaust hope this helps

For manuals as well - my S5 is a manual :)

I’ve been seriously debating this for my Golf R. How’s the stop and go acceleration with this?

@@brianlenny4918 the actual acceleration difference of your are foot flat is next to nothing but it’s the responsiveness a part throttle where you feel a big difference

When you say you pulled the cable off do you mean you snapped the element from the mirror?

on my mk7, all you have to do is pop out the mirror glass with a flathead and put them where they belong.

Thanks Will! 2017 models were a great year for the Tiguan. I genuinely would never of picked a light interior but after having one I really miss it since handing the car back!

They always look the wrong way but MTEC give you a guide plus the discs are marked up to make sure you get it right!

​@@JLMTAutono guide in the boxes at all and the discs weren't marked...🤔 I've since seen that if the internal cooling vanes are straight like the mtec discs are, it's supposedly not an issue which way the dimples and grooves rotate... Whether it's true or not I'm not sure...🤷🏼‍♂️😅

If you’re doing it yourself about £100 ($120), if you plan on getting a garage to do the work it shouldn’t be more than 2 hours labor 👍🏼 Hope this helps!

@@rickymcd15 sadly, on average the cost I’m getting is around 2k however. It’s such an easy thing to replace the parts are expensive but no where near 1000$ each HPFP, so I found two in the used market and swapped it out and bam, 400$ fixed and working oerfectly

It was delivered with the clamps :)

I wouldn’t know - but either way it’s very affordable compared with a lot of companies selling similar. Plus, I know a lot of people that wouldn’t be happy importing from china even if the price is a little less 👌🏼

@JLMTAuto my splitter is from aliexpress...most of my car "mods" are aliexpress 😀 all very good quality.
