The swap I so desperately need! I miss my 12v
Do it!

valves open all the time! great build so stoked and patiently waiting for those wiring/coding docs to drop so i can swap my gti as well 🙏
Just uploaded them 1 minute ago ✌️
Vr6 motor ❤
The best 👌
Appreciate documenting this! People talk about it in forums but only share so much on what’s needed to make it happen. I’ve yet to see someone document a swap into a manual mk6 as well. Usually a DSG with the vr6 from the CC
Yessir no problem! The whole 5-part swap vid series was in the name of anti-gatekeeping. I have the full parts list published in the description of those videos. Working on getting the wiring documents out too.

I love the whole build, but especially the little bits of euro touches you've done. My 3.2t swap in my skoda octavia vrs should be going ahead very soon.
That’s sounds awesome! And I appreciate the kind words
how or where do i find interior material like your lizard green? Do you know of any blue colors that they might have?
I got it from Relicate. They have all kinds of cool materials from several OEs. Negaro blue alcantara would be epic!
@@Ninety4co thanks a lot bro!!
I like the folded power mirrors 👏🏾
Unnecessary but I had to have them
Download option please
You can download videos from UA-cam?
@@Ninety4co yea bro it's on your side to click a button then the whole world can download
Yea bro your previous upload you could download it please bro
@@ChadanythingVW is there a reason you want to download it? Sorry, new to the whole UA-cam scene.

Awesome build! Owned an MK4 R32, MK4 GTI VR6, and a 1997 Passat VR6. I love the VR6 engine. I'm not a fan of the turbo four banger, but I loved my Mars Red MK2 GTI 8V naturally aspirated engine. Hope to pick up an MK4 R32 or the 2018 Passat GT VR6. Love your build enjoy!
Thanks dude! Those are all awesome cars. I hope you can get into one of those soon! I’d probably pic the R32 as it’s timeless and I love a hatch. The Passat GTs are great though, just never been much a fan of sedans. The 3.6 is a beast
how much camber to fit 18x10 +25? tire width?
About -2.5 up front and -4 in the back. It’s a 225/40r18
@@Ninety4co ahhh okay 225’s so not so bad with +25 10 wide. Love your build. Been following for months now. Gr8 content. Keep it coming for us!!!
Would you ever go for DSG transmission?
I’d love to build one with a DSG one day!
My favorite Mk6 of all time
My favorite fan of all time
Super clean build! I love how thought out everything is and how subtle you've installed things. Really nice car! It's given me a few things to add to the list for my Mk3 build!
Thanks a ton! I’d LOVE to build a mk3. They’ve grown on me so much lately

First of all great video!!! So I’m running a r32 manual transmission with a BFI 04 r32 transmission mount that should work right? I have the spacers as well on my manual swap 18 Passat GT?? What about header? I was thinking super sprint…
You’ll need a PQ35 trans mount. Mk4 won’t fit. Check in the video description of any of the swap vid, I have a link to a full parts list.
@@Ninety4co ok cool damn I wasted my funds on the BFI but all good I’ll look for that link
@@Ninety4co the Passat I’m doing this manual swap on is a b7, 2018 GT, will that PQ35 transmission mount still fit?? Sorry to keep hitting you with questions
@@fredjones5327it will not unless you modify it. Your factory trans mount is a 3 bolt. 24v 02M is a 2 bolt.
@@Ninety4co gotcha thanks!!
What’s up bro is there anyway I can see a wiring diagram for your clutch position sensor?? Please and thanks!!
I never pulled those schematics because my car already had that wiring (my GTI was already a manual). I just had to make sure it was still fused when I swapped over to the Passat fuse box.
@@Ninety4co gotcha
Hey man, I'm sorry to bother. Can you please let me know where you got the ECU/ECM wiring pinouts? Like what the wire in pin 64 is for. I'll appreciate it.
I had a friend at a local dealer get me my factory diagrams but you can get a 1-day subscription to ElsaWin and get all your diagrams that way too. What ECU are you asking about T94/64 on? The BLV Passat or the GTI?
@@Ninety4co oh okay, I'm trying to swap a swap a BVZ engine for a CDLA and I'm struggling to find ECU pinouts for both ECUs of these engines. On pin 64 I was just making an example. I need to get ECU pinouts which are complete so I can know what each wire is for on both ECUs.
Pretty serious engineering you accomplished....amazing
Thanks so much!
Awesome!! Thanks for giving that level of info! It will help a lot for my swap!
No problem! I’ll try to get my wiring notes out soon
Quick question, will be able to get a BCM plug pinout list from elsawin?? Won’t come up on Erwin at all.
Yes I believe you can 👌
@@Ninety4co ok cool beans last question what’s a good link to download Elsawin?? And Happy Father’s Day!!!
👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿 bro where did you download or get elsawin from??? Seems like a lot of these sites are fake
Wicked 🤙🤙
🤙
Great channel man, i appreciate the knowledge you been dropping it's amazing. Quick question, can an R32 vr6 fit in an mk1 golf??
Certainly can. Lots of companies make 24v swap mounts for the mk1-3 chassis. Saw several mk1s in Helen this year that were 2.8 and 3.2 swapped
@Ninety4co okay man, thank you and keep posting more helpful content. This is my 1st project, say hii to oscar😅😅😅🫶🏽
Wow dude. Amazing car amazing job. 10/10 I dream to have your fortitude someday😂
Thanks man!
The harness that you scrapped and the new one you got from the dealership is that from the Passat ?
Yes! That was the Passat engine to ECU harness. That remained untouched throughout the swap. I talk about wiring a lot more in episode 4
Oscar is also happy to hear the engine start😂
Oh he always is!
love the build man, and the heart put into it! as for cosmetics though, what side skirts are those? i really like how they go up the wheel well a bit in the rear. the futuras are so hot too!!
Thanks! They’re OEM thunderbunny skirts off of a mk5. Last I checked VW still has a few sets in their dealer network collecting dust in a warehouse.
@@Ninety4co very cool!
@@nickd7572 I’m actually selling them now if you’re interested. DM me on IG.
please turbo it so I can do the same for my Cross sport
No desire to turbo it, I will be doing big cams though
Nice 😲 👍
Cani know your rs seat is it plug and play ?
They bolt it without any modifications, but they have to be completely rewired.
Nice can't wait for up coming videos 😲👍
Thanks! More to come soon, thinking about doing a vid in Helen.
Thanks for the breakdown! You said $50 for the headlights... from where the junkyard?
From a marketplace ad for a mk6 partout
@@Ninety4co haha nice
VR swap the world❤
Yessir 😎
If you're bored and want to start a new project i will take the loss and trade you my 2006 rabbit for your mk6 😂
You drive a hard bargain 👀
Sucked to only see this for a little bit at Wookies, but worth every second
Will you be at Helen this year?
What fault lights did you get and how did you get rid of them..
Pretty much all of them! ABS, traction, brake, airbag lights were all on for ABS faults related to the Passat ECU looking for a TCM. Coding took care of that. Engine light was on for a number of sensors. Some sensors were no longer there, some sensors were bad, and some needed more rewiring. So coding, replacing parts, and wiring took care of all that. The dash is has no lights on it now.
I hope it's worth every dollar spent. Thanks for the video!
Oh it definitely is. Thanks for watching!
Really not that bad considering some places will charge double if not more to do a similar swap and awd conversion. 🤷🏽♂️ (based off the 10k that is)…
Exactly! I’m still trying to formulate what I’d charge if a customer wanted me to do their car
Sadly its the only way that makes sense to mess with. If you're not doing the labor yourself, and don't have access to wholesale vendor pricing, you're going to be coughing up a shit ton in parts and the labor can easily become catastrophic. Even the best shops run into wiring, fueling, ecu issues, etc. I would love to do this with one of my vdubs but I am afraid of the various pitfalls.
@@chozen_juan like I mentioned, only a small amount of the stuff I bought was purchased at wholesale, and the discounts are slimmer than you think. A majority of the stuff I got I paid retail for/I bought used. I also understand I could have bought a low mileage used engine and saved thousands (not having to replace as much) but part of the fun was tearing the VR all the way down. Bay shave was another item that was unnecessary and could Be cut out to reduce time/cost.
Assume build bro huge thumps up👍👍 this is the type of swap i want to do to my 2012 VW Jetta SportWagen TDI
Thanks Man! You can do it!
Comparatively speaking, that's not a lot more than I spent on my Mk4 24v VR swap ($3000 with a lot of rebuild parts) especially considering how much more work you had to do. Well done! Wish I could make it to Helen this year.
Overall I’m very happy with the final cost. Vr swap the world!
Amazing bro!!! McDonald’s… I’m lovin it!!! Like I said multiple times I’m converting my 18 Passat GT from auto to manual, AWD im having the hardest time finding a 2014 VW cc 3.6L 4 motion Haldex loom if you can point me in the right direction please… i already spoke to adam @godspeed73 and he doesn’t have any help would be much appreciated
Can't hide money
🪦 to the 🐐
So that exhaust shown is the vibrant one you we spoke about? Part number please
No sir, that vibrant one is off the car and for sale along with the old quad tips
@@Ninety4co ohhhh I can’t use that style because I’m still a 4 door so I need 2 separate mufflers I was just curious as to what’s gonna sound fhe best but seams like exhaust styles like that sound the best with vr6’s
I appreciate the content and all the good information you’ve been so willing to provide. Very helpful, and much needed in the car community. Keep it up, I’ll definitely be on the lookout for more content.

I appreciate the shout out! You've did very well on the cost!! See you at Helen!
