I have a 07 n54 and it doesn't have the oem oil cooler 😬 I'm thinking of buying the oil filter housing that has the oil cooler connections and buying a cooler similar to the one you installed. I probably don't need To worry about getting a adaptor that flows oil to two coolers since I don't have it 😂
I used to autocross a lot over the years. I stopped going because I couldn't justify being there an entire day but only being on the track 120 seconds. It just stopped making sense, 3 or 4 runs at 33 seconds each is roughly 2 minutes of course time. The other 8 hours is collecting cones and waiting.
I totally agree. I always point that out. But it is much more expensive and time to go and do a track day. Which is way better. So I just go to autocross to get some fun
Can you get dual mode exhaust aftermarket?
Yes there are companies that offer that. They are usually a little more expensive. Some will using the factory actuators. Some will have you wire in their own actuators

I’m looking to buy Pedders coil overs kit with sway bars on my 2014 gt track pack and I’m wondering the quality of the coil overs and shocks.
@@diondoyle-yz7xl I liked the quality of them over all. The only thing I didn't like is I thought they were a little too stiff even when I turned them all the way soft. Other thing was I could never get the collars to lock the ride height and spring tension to stay tight. Other coil overs have little set screws that keep them where you tighten them to. These don't so if you get them I would say check them regularly.

3:73 is a phenomenal rear end ratio for the Mustang. Mine is a 2013 Laguna Seca package. It has all the parts described in the video plus additional track specific items. But that gearing is the ticket.
Would be cool but It's going to cost more than a zl1 1le and we'll be lucky if we ever see one at a track 😂

I have a manual 2015 mustang gt, my car only overheats in 6th gear at highway speeds, I can’t figure out what could be the problem.
I would start with basics. Fluid level. Radiator have any obstructions. Are the fins in good condition? Is the radiator plugged? Next I would check water pump and thermostat. Fan doesn't really do much at freeway speeds. Most likely not the fan but I would still check to make sure it is functioning correctly. Thermostat not opening enough would not let enough coolant through to cool the engine. Bad water pump could do the same thing. Not enough coolant flow to cool the engine. Under normal driving conditions. Freeway speed creates the most heat. Something in the cooling system is not functioning correctly. Could function enough at low speeds to not cause a problem. If that is all good you could have a possible bad mechanical issue. Something to look for is if your cooling system is over pressuring quickly your could have a possible engine issue such as a head gasket failure or a hole in a cylinder wall that is letting combustion gases into the cooling system.

With all due respect I have no use for anything but a truck. I love utility and ground clearance practicality. It checks all the boxes. I have owned 14 silverado's in my life the Afm silverado 2013 and newer is a pain but I have owned 3 a 14 a 2015 a 2017 they're junk I'm a gluten for punishment I love my 2015 daily driver silverado. Don't put a 9 inch lift kit on 37 if you value practicality but a retard so I'll do it again. I plan on building a 2015 hd silverado with a 15 inch lift kit on 42 because I'm stupid and I want to punishment my wallet I perfer smiles per miles. I'm serious hd silverado are more reliable don't buy a 1500 the transmission is junk and the engine is alright until the lifter grenades your engine. F##k afm cylinder deactivation. Just buy the delete kit from Texas speed
Yes trucks are very useful and can be good for many things. Sometimes I like to have a car for long trips because the trucks don't get that great of fuel economy. I do want to buy a newer Silverado or F150 for the fact that mine is known for blowing up transmissions and I want to be able to tow my small racecars. Smiles per gallon are always important no matter what you drive
My toyota matrix xrs gets 36 and identifies as a truck a beater and the car i actually prefer to drive. I can haul a deck package or. Unbeatable. Paid 500 for it and rebuilt it. Now its got 240k on it with perfect compression cross hatching healthy on the bores. Etc
You missed the qualification of a beater should be “fear for you life going over 55 mph”

My son’s 2014 mustang keeps overheating. I’ve taken it to several places and no one can figure it out! I wonder if this is his problem too and who I can take it to and explain this. I’m in Phoenix Az.
If you show a good mechanic shop this video they'll know just what to do. You can honestly do it with a screwdriver. Look up 2014 ford mustang connector or pig tail. You'll see what he built pop up
“N54 is unreliable” Why do these UA-camrs keep repeating this TIRED , point. They already corrected the plastic coolant flange, plastic coolant tank, plastic pvc , plastic Intake manifold. Everything your crying about in this video can be correct with aftermarket parts for for cheap . On top of that , you have options of after market or OEM. The aftermarket for bmw 3 series in general is as big as mustangs. Every car blows spark plugs and coil packs . Beyond those things, you guys can really never make a valid point as to what’s so much better with the n54 / n55. Oooo sound, ok? A single turbo n54 has a similar note. Next! (My n54 e90 has 157k original miles , original drivetrain)

Can I ask you a question, at 10:40, the oil line adaptor block, I am about to install an oil cooler as a replacement for my leaky oem cooler and have the same oil line adaptor as yours, Am i screwed with that oil line adapter block if all I want to do is replace the oem cooler?
Your oem cooler will still be in use with the block. So it is still going to leak. I would say just replace the oem cooler. If you need more oil cooling then install the block and another cooler.
