Hello! Amazing work! I am kind of curious though, is it better if you put the horizontal support beams the way you did, or on top of the legs where the weight and the support beams are completely perpendicular to the table legs rather than the load being parallel to the legs? I've seen it being done both ways, but I don't know which way is better.

I can't find any suppliers (US) selling those nice aluminum end caps. If anyone knows of a source let me know, all I can find are plastic.

I have impression on the first view that it was a aluminum welding tool :) Or Was it the Impact Drill? If this was the impact drill what N moment have you setup? I am looking for an idea to lock the screws against unscrewing? Do you have any recommendation?

This is a really neat build. Isel-Automation do some great flat aluminium profile for workbench work surfaces with T-Slots at different spacings. You can fix tools to the worktop and still adjust the position later and the profiles are much lighter than wood.

I am also currently thinking about building my own grow box out of aluminium profiles and other materials that do not rot away. The idea was to build a basic box frame with a door frame and make it double walled with the space in between used for cables, tubes or some standard PC fans for running it in Summer when you do not need to filter the air as the windows are open. At the moment I am looking for company that produces basic V-slot (or comparable) box frames with a size of about 70x70x200 (or something about this size), so that I have a robust base I can build on and add profiles, aluminium sheets and wheels myself as I need to.
