Hi Robert. I have the 1.6 DTL. I avoided this build-up by removing the oil gases from the camshaft cover to a decanter or oil collection tank and placing a metal gasket at the EGR inlet, in which we reduce the passage of exhaust gases to a hole of only 8 mm in diameter. There is no DTC fault, the engine gains at low revs, and no part of the intake system gets dirty with oil and carbon. If we leave the system AS STANDARD, the sum of oil and carbon will sooner or later clog the EGR, the cooler, the electric air passage butterfly and the MAP sensor as we see in your video. After 9 years and 198,000 km I have hardly any dirt (from time to time) I remove and observe the turbo inlet pipe, the throttle valve inlet, and the MAP sensor and it is almost clean. Mr Muscle did a brilliant job on cleaning up my varibale valve turbo on my mk4 golf. Re your DPF, it may have cleaned it but, why was it not cleaning itself is the question. If it fills up again and doesn't burn off when at the set limit there's an underlying issue. What you've done is a good idea and certainly novel but you really need to follow-up with an immediate investigation of why it was full and not self regulating.

If the car didn't came with alarm, can I buy the OEM module and install it, and program de ecu directly, short way.. or I need to go the long way with more parts and change the wiring and other things... Or not.. and it doesn't work at all? And where do I find the his spot to install?

Common problem with after market clutches. Change the master cylinder with an ix35 adjustable rod and adjust the pedal

I had one for 4 years and it was a 2015 tekna, I could get just over 100 miles driving like a granny. Get leafspy and use the displayed kwh remaining and multiply by your miles/kwh, it becomes second nature. Keep an eye out for a scrap battery and look at Dala EV channel for how to upgrade. They are great little town cars and nothing else goes wrong with them.

So the T16 was a Turbo the M16 was a 2.0 non turbo. What bumper is that on the front? I have a 220 turbo which I drive almost every other day lol

You can upgrade the battery on these to 62kWh (200 mile range) if you've got a spare £12k ;)

If you're looking at getting one of these, get one from 2014 onwards, and go for the Tekna spec which has all the cameras, heated seats, etc. Also, make sure the battery has at least 10/12 bars on the display. Price should be less than £4k now.

Short Answer is NOOOOO GOOD

You have not even started to inspect this cylinder head. You should have measured the cam journal bores and compare that with spec. (VW forum would give that to you). Test the valves in the guide and measure the valve regression and guide to valve end play. Measure from the face of the cylinder head to the base where the bolt sits (this will tell you if the cylinder head has been skimmed) get a straight edge and check for true/flatness on of the cylinder heads face. Lastly, just go over the surface area with a magnifying glass and check for porosity.

Plastigauge your cams if youve not fitted it yet! We bought one of these and had clearance issues. The spec is available on erwin. Also worth checking your cam bridge for wear too, if this is worn it can cause oil pressure issues.

Some years ago I got a cheap Chinese head for my shogun the mk1 2.5 diesel it lasted 3 months and cracked I now do my best yo avoid purchasing from China even though I know they can produce good quality stuff it just a matter of principle as they support Russia

Listen bud... as far as torque specks... the best way to do it is to just torque every bolt till you hear something Crack and the back it off 1/4 turn and as long as nobody saw you... you're good and when the car comes back because it sounds like someone emptied a silverware drawer into a blender... all you gotta do is blame it on your apprentice.

I have similar engine like urs. Its a 2014 Chevy Cruze Lt with 1.4 liter turbo engine. My question is can I pour this in radiator as a preventative maintenance even if head gasket is working fine? Heads or head gasket is common failure on type of car i drive. Thanks for video any appreciated

Is that a chinese ea888.3 head? It doesn't have a water cooled exhaust port. Can you share the part number and ebayer?
