And here we are wilting in the heat this Christmas, swimming in the ocean at five am. ⛱️ I would like to experience Christmas in the northern hemisphere, but maybe just once.

Get a stand regular shower and just have a waterproof shower curtain a fabric one that you can wash once a week. Way better than glass doors. I clean for a living and fabric shower curtains makes my life easier.

If you are planning on tiling, and really because it is a bathroom, you will probably want cement board.

Um, can't we watch you decorate your tree? Some of us need that.

Before you start work in your small bathroom , make sure you have a ceiling exhaust fan (to the outside), 2nd, have a floor drain installed ,for water spills. Hope this helps , good luck.

If it’s ultimately going to be a wet room, why bother with a shower door/cubicle? Curious about drainage placement as well.

That's an excellent indoor winter project!

Any vlog that includes happy dogs is an excellent vlog. Being included in planning was nice too. If I were young, healthy and had the budget for fixing up a house, I'd run the pipes in the inside wall, because even with insulation, that north wall might get too cold for pipes. (North America has extreme winters; I have reasons to fret about pipes.) We have those square top loading washing machines, but they're generally labeled "portable washing machines." I could have an opinion about a shower barrier, but if you just want a tidy place for visitors, ask your family for their preferences. But then, your Aunties will always suggest that you Call Your Mum. ;)

What does your place look like outside ? Are you very far from the chateau ?

Hola Dan. Yup all that Christmasy stuff gets delayed, as it did in my house until my housekeeper (lucky to have one yes I know) finished it for me. 🎄I could have decorated the palm tree 🌴 outside of my door, maybe next year. I don’t miss working in the cold snowy or just miserable parts of the year, mind you you get the rest of the year in rural France, so there that. Good planning on projects to do over the holidays if you’re not going anywhere. Loved the vlog short or long it’s always nice to watch your vlogs. 👍

The construction in France is very different than the USA. You have thick mason walls and little or no central heat. Mise en place. To have everything in place when needed. I get having supplies on hand. We have had 3 days of rain as well. Enjoy decorating your tree for Christmas. I am ready for Chrismas it is very magical looking at the decorations. However, I still need the magic clapping gloves you have, to put away decorating boxes . 😊 stay warm ...rest.

I like your ideas for the bathroom and as nice as your kitchen looks, I'd love a look at the fireplace that is in there.......I am tickled at the fact that you use the same dish soap as I do. Regardless of my rambling, I thank you for the video and I'm glad you haven't caught Dans' cold. ( i can only handle one Rudolph the red nose at a time)
