Good for you for celebrating milestones. Excellent road-trip music selection, thank you for taking all 41 of us with you. Soon we will need to pool our pennies to hire a bus to haul us all around; Nick could drive and you could be our tour guide, any puppies could take turns on our laps.
@@l.5857 poor puppies are gonna be HUGE!!! I'm a pet parent who ALWAYS carries pup cookies in his pockets...never know when you're gonna meet a good goggie that needs a treat!🤣
A very nice video! Love the cathedral and the guys house that was a castle even though he wasn't royalty. Thank you for taking us along, I enjoyed the tour and the education!! Until next time!!
French revolution, explained. They sure made beautiful things with all that concentrated wealth. Next time you are in Paris, can you take us to the rebuilt Notre Dame?
Ooh yes it's just reopened. Not sure if the public are allowed in yet as i think they were allowing french dignitaries, then the press and idk who... and eventually everyone else who funded the repairs with donations.
I wonder if the trumpians will do the same, especially given all the cuts to the poorer citizens. However, it appears that they just want people to buy tat made in china. Although perhaps in a couple of hundred years the next few generations will find a golden toilet amongst the timber framed plasterboard remnants of dystopia.
What a great town. I like the lack of crowds in the middle of France. That alone makes for a pleasant walk around looking up at the buildings and probably not banging into anyone.
As I missed the live, I see there have been 1223 views - so Brian you’re much more popular than you think!! Don’t sell yourself short we enjoy you & your vlogs. Hugs from Johannesburg, South Africa
Clicking of fingers works on small jobs i find!? 😂 loved the trip to Bourge thanks Brian! Laughed out loud and its Monday here in Oz land so cheers you Irish rover and well done for all the other 40 followers ! Loving the toe tapping music 👌👌👏👏👍🎼🎺🎸🚐🚜
On a different note congrats to France on the completion of and reopening Notre Dame Cathedral. I spent 6 weeks in France studying French many years ago and the Cathedral was a must see when I was in Paris.
Hola Brian. Thanks for taking us along on a very interesting explore of a rural France city. Loved the road music, nothing like a good hard blues rock tune to move you down the road. 🎶🎸 The history of these churches and castles is really fascinating and they’ve stood the test of time. Quite impressive structures. The White Winged Fairy Lady with her tall friend was kinda spooky. Good you found an Irish stout, not your go to but you are in the middle of rural France. Cheers 🍻 see you tomorrow. 👍
Beautiful Bourges 😊 Jack's Palace was astounding- when you're the money man for the king, you become rich as well 😉 Gorgeous cathedral. People forget how brightly painted they were as well. To a peasant who couldn't read or write, it must have felt miraculous to them.
Almost 42 people! My house needs some of your magic clapping! Great job at Dan's with the truck driver and all the plants! Loved the map, thank you! Loved those ceilings, beautiful! Love the stained glass, absolutely gorgeous! Thank you sharing your weekend!! Stay warm!! See you next week!!
We just moved from a 4 bedroom house to a two bedroom condo. And after 4 days of stuffing 2 houses into one, we could use your magic hand clap sorting trick.
Gee - my motorhome road trip in Australia is Pink Floyd, Queen, Aussie bands, Beatles, Tapestry - Carol King, Roy Orbison, John Farnham, John Butler Trio. Also picked up someone's 20 Cds for $1 each from second store before they were picked over - wahoo.
Oh, and loved the ceiling that looked like an overturned wooden boat. ♥️♥️♥️ Made me think of my Norwegian fishermen ancestors (1/4 of my heritage). I’d say they were Vikings, but we know they were Sami. Some herded reindeer, and others fished, but they all sailed.
You are funny Brian. I grew up in France and I live in the States now. I enjoy when you drive around in France. That is a very pretty castle you visited today. Brings back happy memories. Thank you take care
Me too, I grew up in France and then lived in Africa for a while, and now I am living in Australia 🇦🇺 for the last 40 years. I love following you, Brian , in your little trips in France. It brings back so many happy memories..
That HUGE Chateau by yourself would have been yucky! But that's the way they did it back then I guess. Beautiful church and town the architecture was amazing how they did those ceilings so far up! Brian I guess I just don't have the magic snap in my fingers when trying to clean up the chateau because it didn't work for me.
This is one of the main reasons I would ever have with moving to Europe, so much history and beauty a few hours away. Here where I live in the middle of Canada it would take me 33 hours to drive to Montreal just to see something comparable. Thank you so much for taking us with you. The chateau and cathedral are absolutely breathtaking!💖
There's a "Save the bats" club/association that is quite active in Bourges; I went there years ago... It was nice to hear Karma Chameleon by Culture Club in the café-bar... I hope you enjoyed your visit.
Good, we are going on a Sunday drive to BOURGE! You usually tell us where you are going, or what town or village you are visiting, I think people just can't remember. There may be only 40 people who watch EXACTLY when you post (which I get tired of reading every single day!) you have had over 14k fans (as of 9:30pm EST in America) who have watched your vlogs when they have a chance to relax at the end of the day. I loved the roadie music!🎼🎶The first set of buildings remind me of Swiss Chalets. The castle was beautiful and the ceiling was magnifique!! It was weird hearing Boy George playing in a coffee shop in France.😂😂 The Cathedral was also magnificent!🏰 Thank you for another view into your life. What I really love about you, is that you go out and explore no matter what the weather is like and share it with us. I quite enjoy it. 🥂🍀
Thank you for a great adventure. The most beautiful Cathedral and Town. As usual great fun and humour. You are a natural. Keep up the good work. That 40 people may be 50 people very soon. Have a great Christmas.
Fantastic buildings Brian. Well worth the trip. 41.6 people are following you in addition to those in white. So yeah, no wonder you have the feeling that you are followed. It's getting realy cramped in the car. Ten of us have 3 people on our lap now and that 1.6 person is a really big one. He's not getting on my lap though. Soon there will be feet in our faces 😂
Brian, please teach us your wonderful hand clap technique for clearing away clutter. What a time saver. I especially love that everything seems to miraculously know where it’s supposed to go too. 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅 🍁🇨🇦🐈⬛🐈⬛
That was delightful! From the road trippy music through the espresso, the riot of color that is the cathedral glass, through to the very end. Thanks for the adventure. 🧡
What a lovely adventure, Brian! The cathedral was breathtaking! The residence was magnifient with those amazing fireplaces! And the gardens even in winter are beautiful! Thanks for the trip to Bourge!
Thank you for continuing the tour i started in 1978. I get to continue vicariously through your travels. Someday soon, im hoping to make it back to France, i really do want to continue the trek. I genuinely appreciate younletting us all ride along.
I guess I'm one of the 40. Thank you so much for this video. It's so awesome to get to see this stuff, that I would never see otherwise. It's absolutely beautiful ❤
What an incredible place, beautiful buildings and all that History. Talking of buildings,I think You , Dan & Nick should have some gargoyles carved like the ones in the Museum and stick them on the chateau roof. Leave your mark for all the hard work that you've all done.
I’m in the UK Brian, have you seen the forecast? We’ve just had a visit from Darragh! 😖 Either a Murphy’s or a Guinness would be splendid.. I would get your waterproofs ready, I’ve just seen Dan and he’s very wet and sounds full of cold. Good luck tomorrow! 🥃
Lovely town. Funky music (not the medieval stuff) . Interesting buildings. Your face after that first coffee sip, is just like mine after my first sip of tea in the mornings 😅
Oh--THANK YOU so much for taking us to Bourges!! I spent 2 weeks there in the summer of 1976 with a group of international young people doing door to door evangelism. It was such a great experience! I got to practice my high school French! ♥However, we were busy the entire time and didn't get to do any touristy things there--so I NEVER got to see the cathedral or the castle you showed. Such a treat to finally see it all now. And to think I was that close and missed it. But you SAVED THE DAY, Brian. All I had to do was wait 48 years til you came along to help me. Such beauty in the architecture. I am so glad you like such things, because you share it with all of us. Bless you. I hope when you find a companion you will continue taking us along on these excursions with you. (Praying she comes long soon. ♥)
I love you Brian, your intro reminds me of the American sitcom, "I Dream of Jeannie". It aired while I was a child. Have a Blessed life, greetings from Wyoming USA.
You know why the coffee is good. Those kind of machines have freezed dried coffee mixed with a hot water line at same time. Makes it very fresh and good.
Two things, thanks for the video. And yeah, I was all over that area except for France 🤣 in July the worst time of the year and it wasn’t that bad. We just stayed away from all the super touristy things during the late morning and throughout the day. Sure we went to Scotland in England and through the Swiss Alps to Lake Como (amazing) and Venice and we ended up at the Mediterranean near cinque terra but just outside the super touristy towns, so we skipped the crowds most of it. we didn’t spend a lot of time in San Marcos Square during the middle part of the day. But even with the people it was really wonderful.
I am French and grew up in France and then lived in Africa for a while, and now I am living in Australia 🇦🇺 for the last 40 years. I love following you, Brian , in your little trips in France. It brings back so many happy memories.
Well us 42 enjoyed Murphys and the cup of coffee Brian. The road trip to Bourges was lovely so was the music choice, thanks for letting us tag along. Have a great day.
Love the ‘magical’ cleanups. If only it was that easy! 🤗. It’s great that you continue to go on fun adventures in between hard work days! We all enjoy every day!🥰

I had the same thought, bigger vehicle! 😂
BEST IDEA EVER!!!! Puppies or dogs, I'm good either way. Not sure about bringing all the chateau clan as they'd make us cut noggins all the way.🤔
Love that idea 😍😍😍😍😍
where can I book my ticket pleaaaaaase??? ☺☺☺
Happy planting of all those shrubs at Chateau Chaumont. Glad you enjoyed your day off..... so did we. xxx
There's 41 of us watching now 😁
I’m definitely one of them.
Make that 42 😊
43 sets of eyeballs😎
Sssh quiet down on the numbers we need our guy calm, he is driving us ya know? 😂
Just pretend it’s 4 Brian
“ SEE WHERE THE ROAD TAKES US” .............what a fabulous attitude. We should all take time to go on mini adventure. LOVELY VLOG ✅✅✅✅✅👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
We can all learn to be less hurried and more present. Thank you, Brian.
Congrats on 40 people! The clapping trick is brilliant, off to try it here
Almost 42 people now!!
did it work...?
Please come clap at my house next! It's a disaster 😂
Didn't work for folding laundry but watching Brian and folding laundry was ok
I tried it too so it didn’t work until I clicked my heels 3 times. 😊
A very nice video! Love the cathedral and the guys house that was a castle even though he wasn't royalty. Thank you for taking us along, I enjoyed the tour and the education!! Until next time!!
GREAT music! Very, very nice tour! Simple pleasures (including your dry wit) are the best! 👍🏻👍🏻❤️❤️
Hi Brian,I’m born & raised a CORK woman......Murphy’s is the business....Take it easy on us Corkonians
You've outdone yourself this time on the tourism front. Really enjoyed it. Thanks from HTX
I especially liked the explanation of rivalry between Dublin and Cork beer. I learned something worth knowing today.
The outing today was wonderful. 😊
I love the drone following you around xx
Great choice of music with the Cathedral. Almost wanted to dance but as a soul of 84 years my imagination runs riot! ❤
What a beautiful town!
French revolution, explained. They sure made beautiful things with all that concentrated wealth. Next time you are in Paris, can you take us to the rebuilt Notre Dame?
We would have to pass round the hat to help with the astronomical entrance fee!
@@SusieMonk-jh8tj Oh, really - I hadn't considered that! They may have filming restrictions too.

Hi Brian, some awesome roadtrippy music and beautiful architecture! All in all a lovely day .. thanks for taking us with
I noticed the roof beam joinery that was illuminated behind you ... similar to the new chateau roof that is!
Love the video, we also live in the Creuse and visited Bourges last October but want to return in the summer when the city is lit up.
Love that chateau! The cathedral could use a good cleaning like Notre Dame got. The old cathedral is jaw dropping now.
