Here's how to install AccuTune OffRoad's upgraded bump stop and U bolt flip kit on your Toyota Tacoma! I know yall have probably learned this now, but when it comes to FL water holes if you see white or gray sand your good, hard bottom no need to build up speed. Its when you see brown or black it is going to be slick.
Looks bad @$$.
Definitely some ouch sounding moments but what a blast that must’ve been.
I really enjoyed watching this install video. Nice job explaining everything. I don’t even own a Tacoma 😂. (But I am an off-road enthusiast)
Got a new rear bumper coming with some “hoops” that would definitely come in handy on the big mud obstacle with the deep rut and hillside.
Great video. Can’t wait to hit this trail on the KAT in the Red Beast.
Nice job as always! Those stock U-bolts have seen better days, this should be a nice improvement.
Yeah buddy. Good job 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽 looks great
Thanks my friend!
Just got a new 4x4 and me and the wife are buying gear now to start overlanding. This route seems very scenic. Thanks for all the info. Definitely on my list since we are in N.C.
You live in RH? I am here as well.
Heck yeah man! What part?
we are over by northwestern hs. Just did the Georgia traverse last weekend. I followed you on IG. Let’s talk, thinking about Alleghany next
@ shoot me a message on IG!
I ate lunch in Monterey today. 10/29/24. I had to work on a cell tower in Franklin, WV.
Was that Flag Pole Knob that you finished your video at?
It sure was!
What a great route! I sure hope if I’m ever stranded on the trail, it’s you that lends a hand (not to mention I’d love to meet you!). Thanks for the inspiration for a future trip.
Thank you very much! And I’m sure we’ll meet at some point 😃
Awesome trip. I love those trails. What’s the rear bumper / tire carrier setup you have?
That’s a custom fabricated JC Customs high clearance rear bumper. He’s based out of upstate SC!
Very good video 👍 👍😃
Looked like a fun adventure.
great adventure video! Your wife is like mine... only goes out once every few years too!
Good Work! keep it up. 4*4 is my passion also😍
Looks like a great trip that even my stock Armada could make. I appreciate how you put coordinates. Most people I watch expect you to pay $25/mo or more for Patreon just to get coordinates and gpx files. I'll definitely check some of this out when I get out to WV.
I normally do not drop coords, however these waypoints and trails are public knowledge and public roads, so no point in gate keeping / hiding.. It’s one thing if they’re not often travelled trails, but for this kinda stuff, it’s a different story.
Will these shocks ever be made for lifted Chevy/GMC applications?
It’s certainly possible! It really depends on supply/demand, but unfortunately, there isn’t a high demand yet for Chevy applications if I had to guess, but worth pursuing I think!
Honest question, could a 2x4 with proper tires and just auto lsd do some of these trails?
I would advise against it. You can do the majority of it I’m sure, but there are sections of trail that is unavoidable that a 2WD couldn’t make it through. The truck you saw us rescue in this episode was because he was 2WD.
That huey is tippy haha it was rocking back and forth in the wind today!
Where did you get the fid?
I can’t even remember tbh.. just from some generic supply website!
Hey bro just found your channel, I’m down in Chatt/ North Ga, let me know next time you are in the area. What are your thoughts on the ride shocks vs fox 2.5 pes? These are the two shocks I am debating on buying, but there is not a lot of info and most of it is contradictory.
What’s up my friend! Go to AccuTune Offroad’s website and do some research, they have a document there that is a GREAT comparison to Ride vs Fox vs King, and breaks down everything to the smallest moving parts. I absolutely love my shocks so far. They’ve been great on and offroad. They look good, they’re comfortable, they’re well-built, now we just see how well they withstand the test of time!
Love the videos Keep it going
Hey any follow up on how they perform? How is the ride comfort daily driving on road vs. off road performance? Any issues so far? Thanks!
Hey my friend! So far they ride great! The adjustability works quite well. First time using it offroad I made 0 adjustments so it was super soft and I was getting thrown all over the place. Second trail I adjusted the high speed compression and it was an immediate difference. It ate up all the obstacles with ease! Check out my Instagram, I got a couple videos up with them in action.
Love seeing all the Tacomas
Lots of laughing going on here
Tha “lawn mower” part 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Dude, the videos are so relaxing I kept falling asleep. It is 1am though and the 2nd time Im watching them😂. Rewind!!!!😉
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
From pa here wheeling a 23 4Runner pro. New sub here ! Supporting the muddy east coast 👍
Good video 👍 👍😃
Well done, thanks for taking the time to put this together!
Nice install video.
Most Enjoyable
Now I’ve got to sell my van… 😂you guys have got it down!🤟
When do you plan on coming back to finish the KAT?
Already finished it! Check out part 6 of 6
No way!!! 😂😂😂 love it.
Im pissing of ,laughter ! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 But she got it done.... this was fun and they had a great, time !
Updates ?
I am installing them this weekend and will provide updates throughout as well as an installation tutorial. Check Instagram for frequent updates!
Great video. Definitely looked like some fun obstacles.
Thank you! And definitely was a great time, with some of my favorite obstacles.
@@Bugout_Overland Just got back from the Cove and hit all of the same obstacles in the Red Beast. I had to hit a big mud pit myself because I couldn’t fit thru the bypasses as well. Had a great time. Got a few more pinstripes added to the collection.
@@redbeastadventureshope there’s a video coming soon on that.
@@That_Paul_Guy For sure
Yup everyone and there grandma has kings now lol played out
I'm here for the journey! I have a 4th gen 4runner with the OME Nitrochargers and I hate that suspension offroad so I've been looking at Accutune and a couple other options.
Glad to hear it! I love my UCAs by them so far, so I’m sure I’ll be just as impressed with the suspension! Be on the lookout for future vids on it coming soon, and follow along on insta if you haven’t already!
@@Bugout_Overland I saw on the gram you got them installed. Any reaction videos coming soon? :)
@@dan0nym0us66 it’ll probably be a couple months just so I can get a feel for them first, but installation tutorial should be going up soon!
Awesome! Can't wait to see these shocks in action, I have a feeling you will really enjoy the ride quality on these compared to what you had in the past. Thanks for sharing!
The unboxing sequence was really well edited. From the music to the reveal of the instruction packet. Nice. Look forward to see how they perform for you.
✌️👍👍😃
Firstttttttt
Super cool. Only about a year into jeeping But definitely interested in overlanding.
If you plan to go for the “off roading” don’t it’s a national park not an off road park
National Sea Shore but, yeah I guess 🤷🏻♂️
