    So weird that YT recommended this specific part to me, ig it's bc I live like right next to Tate's Hell lmao
    I absolutely despise this county, but I always like seeing people have a good time when they're here on trips.

    Man you drove right though my stomping grounds. Bristol/Blountstown. The long bridge you went over between the two goes over the Apalachicola river and use to be the only bridge that crossed it in that area. Two lanes. One each way. Butt puckering tight. Log trucks use to hit the crossmembers too and shut down the whole bridge. Great videos man. Subscribed.

    I live just north of Eglin AFB. I wish you had more time to see how cool Eglin is and there are several great trails in Blackwater Forest

    Hey! Newbie quesion here as I'm new to the offroad. On time stamp 6:50, were you on 2 wheel drive or 4x4? If 4x4 what selection should i make with my 4ruuner offroad premium?

    • @Bugout_Overland
      @Bugout_Overland  Рік тому

      Hey my friend. We were in 4WD in just about every "trail" we were on. Not only because the age old saying better have it and not need it than to need it and not have it, but because running the trails in 4WD is better on the trails as it doesn't cause as much wash-boarding / rutting. It's also definitely easy getting stuck in some of these places, especially in the wet season.

    What gps do you guys use? I figure you lose cell service so gps is a must? And can you preload off-road trails ?

    • @Bugout_Overland
      @Bugout_Overland  7 місяців тому +1

      Yessir GPS is an absolute must when doing this! I use Gaia. What I do to prevent losing signal on my GPS is I download a section of map beforehand so it’s already saved to the app and doesn’t require a signal to navigate.

      @@Bugout_Overland awesome thanks. I didn’t know iPhone’s gps worked as long as the route is saved. Awesome just got a Gaia pro account thanks

    Where can I find the gpx files to do these trails? Is there a start to finish segment to follow? Subscribed this was a awesome series

    • @Bugout_Overland
      @Bugout_Overland  Рік тому +1

      Glad you liked it! Means a lot to me! You can find the GPX files in the link down in the comments. You’ll need a GPS app like Gaia. You can start the route from east to west as seen in this series, or west to east, just depends on preference! If you need any more help or got any more questions, shoot me a message on instagram. Hope this helps!

      In this video I’m running a 2” ARB OME lift with medium load leaf springs. But now, I’m running Fox 2.5 performance elite with Deaver stage 3 leaf springs and Accutune Offroad UCAs

    Makes me want to avoid the drive to these cheesy places. Want to see challenges and getting STUCK!

    • @Bugout_Overland
      @Bugout_Overland  Рік тому +1

      I wouldn't consider them cheesy, I love the outdoors whether challenging or not. But these locations certainly aren't nearly as technical as Florida's East Side. If you want something more technical, I highly recommend exploring the offshoot roads of Richloam, as well as Citrus. Osceola and Ocala were fun too, but the technical spots there were few and far between imo.
