Here is how I built my work bench back bumper. All the sheet metal is 1/8” and it was stitch welded and I used body filler silicone between stitches to seal it up. All of the frame work and angle iron was all stick welded as I don’t have a mig but I was lucky to borrow a mig for the sheet metal welding.
