"Song facts" here means that some of the other online song translations I saw, at the time that I was working on this lyric video, wasn't said to be correct by the native that was helping to assist me at that time. What is actually being said and it's meaning are translated in this video. I found this understanding through a native Malian (Korotomi). She is one of the people who worked along with me to help make this lyric video possible. Salif uses those two "song facts" in the song. And it's also just a way to show that I took the time to research my translation effort... but it's most definitely not set in stone. Hope this helps! 🙂

@@ahsen2491 Thank you for asking how you can support my work. ❤️ No one has ever asked me that... With that being said, I am no longer taking time out to do these lyric videos. There are some videos on my channel that I might... key word: MIGHT... go back and update at a later time due to mistakes... but... 🤷🏾‍♀️🙂 And, honestly, because the songs don't actually belong to me I really can't, and don't want to continue to, dive into transcribing and translating them like that. It would be SO MUCH better to work with the actual artist of the song(s)... that way everything is clear... but... 🤷🏾‍♀️ Anyway, THANK YOU SO MUCH for thinking of me in this way. 🥰 Be blessed! 🕊️😘

You may ask "Why?". 🙂 Because I'm tried: • of the meticulous work involved without pay • of having to find people willing to help me because I don't understand Bambara enough to do it on my own • of the low amount of "views" and/or "likes" on my videos. Especially, considering the amount of work I put into them • of not actually feeling appreciated for the work. (There are some people who do say "Thank you!" and there are some people who have also left some very heartfelt comments, ❤️ but overall it's not enough to make me want to continue.) 🎯 And most of all... I'm tired of some of these music artist not considering their fan bases and international audiences enough to provide them with lyric videos and translations. And I'm like 'WHY?" am I continuing to do something some of these music artist themselves aren't making any effort to do??? 👀 It's THEIR music! They're the ones ultimately benefiting... and some of them can afford to publish lyric videos with translations but they don't. 🤷🏾‍♀️ So, that's why. 😘
