I've been trying to get portraits for a few months and the flash mostly wouldn't go off I had everything on auto and already my few practice shots are so much better and don't come up super wide like a landscape anymore!

Ehh sigma 18-50 is great for the size but if you can afford it the Sony 16-55 is better in literally every way, also same with the sigma 10-18 and sigma 56. Good try though!

Hi there, how long does your battery last ? Mine died after around an hour of use ( 30 pictures taken no prints and some gallery viewing) could my battery be faulty or is this normal ?

When I first met this version of G7X, february of last year, I was surprised it is still on the new-markets. On not too much webshop, 2-3, but still there. From 2016-2023, its impressive. It must have a good reason for this long sell life. However I found a half year old very good used one so I bouht that. Luckily I had possibility of tryout at one of our familimate, So I was double-sured to buy it. I didnt regret it. Love it! I thinkit was a very successful development. Only missed the mic-input, for some gun-(supercardioid) mic to create some cinematic, but I will solve it with external sound recording and editing later.

Boy that is big. I have an EF70-200mmf2.8L but mostly use MFT as the lenses are so much smaller and lighter. So MFT is generally my preference other than portraits.

Does it matter that this lens doesnt have stabilization or would that not make a difference since the a6700 has IBIS?

to be honest , samsung has just ruined the battery life of s23 ultra since last two months since its update,the battery time has halved since two months, since then about 3 updates have come i thought that battery time will improve but it didnt, there no battery improvement, same is the case is with my friend who has the same model.

Did you replace your A7IV with the A6700, or do you use it as a secondary camera? I currently own an A7IV and am thinking of getting something smaller to travel with. I am only afraid that the APS-C sensor of the A6700 may be a downgrade when it comes to low-light capability and ISO performance.
